Nui. Hostel & Bar Lounge

This was my second time in Tokyo, and my second time staying here. I really like the Kuramae area, and the accommodation was very clean! I also love the many delicious bakeries and specialty shops in this area.

I had read the reviews and wanted to stay here for a while. Unfortunately, I was on a business trip and didn't have much time, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. I was really struck by the atmosphere of guests spending their time in their own way and various lives intersecting. A walk along the Sumida River also sounds nice! Check-out is a bit late, at 11:00, so it would be nice to plan that in advance. Be sure to make your bed while it's still light out. The rooms are pitch black after 11:00 PM, and entering and exiting the room is quite noisy, so I felt like I had no choice but to sleep, being considerate of others. The toilet, shower room, and kitchen were all very well-equipped and comfortable. They also provided towels, which was helpful. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are available in the shower room. Each bed has two outlets, one of which is for a light. You can use the other outlet freely.

The hostel is okay. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast policy. They charge 1,000 yen for breakfast, which is a la carte, but there's nothing on the menu for that amount—you have to pay extra.

I think I'll go again. I saw it on Instagram and fell in love with it, so I went there and was so satisfied. It's easy to make friends even if you go alone, the atmosphere is great, the cocktail bar is great, and the brunch in the morning is so delicious.
