Great location! Nice rooms. Only complaint, the breakfast wasn’t worth ¥1700. Not even close.

Hotel 1899 was a good experience. They had everything we could ever need. Good location, just a but of a walk from the train station but still very accessible.

Everything was spectacular! The staff were polite and helpful. The room was cozy and lovely. A little warm but nothing opening a window couldn’t fix. I was a few minutes late for breakfast, they let me take the breakfast to my room which was really kind of them to do so. The location is really great, quiet neighborhood and not far from food and transportation. I would like to stay here again.

Nice cozy little hotel! The facilities are very new, the design is considerate, and the location is very close to the station, which is convenient. There is also an air purifier in the room, which is very quiet. If I have to find fault, it would be the breakfast on the first floor. Although the service was great, the variety was the same for three days and could be better. Forgot to take photos of the room, this is the front desk, on the second floor, the lighting design is very warm, and the service is also good!

1899 Tokyo Hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Shimbashi Station, because I personally like the a**osphere of the street view along the street from Shimbashi Station. So the walking distance is acceptable. On the first floor of the hotel, there is a place that provides afternoon tea and desserts for visiting customers. On the second floor of the hotel, guests staying can experience the exclusive tea-making service, purchase tea products, and check in at the counter. The hotel is very new, because the important design concept of the hotel is the tea ceremony feature. Exquisite tea sets will also be provided in the guest rooms, which is very unique. The color design of the guest rooms is mainly green and beige, giving it a warm and comfortable feeling. The room size is also normal, not too small or crowded. I would like to book a larger Japanese room next time to experience it. It's also very comfortable to sleep in and has good sound insulation. When checking out, the hotel staff will help you store your luggage and provide professional tea making service. There are many staff members who can speak fluent English, so it’s no problem to ask and introduce tea products. The hotel's unique design corresponds to the room price and overall accommodation experience. It is really recommended. I will definitely come back to Shimbashi in Tokyo in the future.

It is relatively small, but very exquisite. The coffee and tea room on the first floor is very casual and comfortable.

The hotel is in a good location. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Onarimon Station to the hotel. The room is clean and tidy, with enough space to open two suitcases. I will book this hotel again when I travel to Tokyo.

Friendly response, clean and comfortable accommodation, sufficient amenities provided, I did not request breakfast. The building next door was under construction, so I could hear noise even at night, but they guided me at check-in and there was no major inconvenience. If you arrive within the set time, the tea will be carefully dropped off. The tea tastes so good. The tea we made with the tea bags in the room also tasted great. Next to the lobby, tea utensils related to tea are sold. We bought a teacup and use it well.

Just a 10 min walk from Shimbashi Station, this cute, clean and safe boutique hotel is perfect for the exploring the city. I loved the daily tea service to start my day on the right foot. The room was cozy, but perfect for one person with luggage and alot of shopping bags.

My partner and I enjoyed staying at Hotel 1899. We particularly loved how zen vibes this hotel gave us, that includes free matcha tea service in the morning! The staff were lovely, also massive shout out to the cleaning staff, we were able to enjoy the clean room after a long day! They stocked up with the full shower kit, fresh towels, PJs and many more every single day. Thank you Hotel 1899 team!
