If you are traveling for shopping purposes, I highly recommend city lodging. Across the street, there are many convenient shopping places such as Isetan Department Store, MUJI, and Bic Camera. It is a busy area, so walking around late in the evening is not dangerous at all, and it is close to Shinjuku Park, which was also nice. I am planning to travel to Tokyo again this fall and will use this accommodation then as well. It's a plan.
