Excellent location in a quiet corner of busy Shinjuku. Room standard small size but tasteful and bright. Good wifi. Breakfast the most basic buffet in six weeks travel in Japan: no Japanese vegetable side dishes (there is miso and mackerel), no milk for coffee (tubs of creamer), canned fruit salad. You’ll be OK if you eat Western breakfast as ham, sausages and good scrambled eggs.

First, I booked a king-bed room. When I checked in, the hotel offered me a free upgrade to a twin-bed room, but I was charged an additional tax fee. It seemed like it wasn’t enough for a twin-bed room, or the hotel didn’t express it clearly enough and offered me a free upgrade. Upgrading a room will make me feel that there is no extra charge.
Secondly, the room layout is not user-friendly. You have to pass by the end of the bed to use the workbench every time.
Third, the air conditioner is installed at the head of the bed, and the cold air blows directly over the head. It makes people feel cold and have a headache. If it is not turned on, it will feel hot. Moreover, it seems that no one has cleaned the air conditioner for a long time. There is a lot of dust inside the air outlet, and it makes me feel sick when I shine it with a light.
Finally, the sheets were covered with many black spots and were not cleaned thoroughly enough.
