The housing prices in Tokyo are indeed expensive and will go up on Thursdays. The general hotel is in a good location, 200 meters away from the subway station exit. Hotel rooms near Ikebukuro Station are small.
Breakfast seemed to come with bread and salad, but I didn't use it.
I stayed for several nights and cleaning was done every day.

Very good location hotel with nearby Tokyo Metro train station for Ikebukuro West STATION . Nearby got many shopping and restaurants. FAMILY MART and 7-11 is walking distance.
The room is spacious for Asian and provide good free breakfast-Toast bread, GOOD yogurt drink and free flow of juice, coffee and salad
Highly recommend for budget conscious travellers.
