The host was friendly, but overall the hostel didn't feel diligently run. I reserved a ryokan for the evening, but when I visited at that time, I couldn't use it because someone else was using it. I was concerned about whether the ryokan is regularly maintained and cleaned. When ordering in the morning, I was sorry that I couldn't pay much attention to the guest because there was a broadcast shoot. The location is quite far from the center of Tokyo, and there were many inconveniences as there were no other shops or facilities nearby. The room and public toilet are neatly maintained, but narrow and stuffy.

Third time staying at this hotel in Tokyo, and would stay again. Excellent welcome and service throughout our stay, with a clean comfortable tatami mat room, and situated near (half an hour walk) to Senso-ji temple. The breakfast is excellent, as is the private bath/ jacuzzi!

Excellent location. Close to subway. Great cultural experience as well with authentic Japanese breakfast offered daily. Shared washroom facilities and shared access to a hot tub. We loved our stay here Room is very small with little more than room for luggage and sleeping. Bedding rolls away so you can have space to hang out.

Highlights - Very cozy! The staff were so kind and helpful, and helped us call a taxi and explain 2/6 people in our party were riding with all of our luggage to our next place of stay. - 25 min walk to Senso-ji Temple. Easy peasy. - The futon was comfortable and we had a good night's rest every day for sure. - Japanese breakfast set was fantastic. You have to order ahead at reception or using the room phone. They use seasonal ingredients/dishes! Western breakfast also available. - Super efficient use of space, and really clean bathrooms despite sharing per floor. - They provide sandals for use inside the ryokan. Tips - There is no elevator but you can use the dumbwaiter to send up your luggage, then receive it on that floor, which was very handy. - Book your time to use the private spa/jacuzzi on the top floor before you go out for the day because the reception closes around ~10:00p. If you haven’t been to an onsen or public bath, they have instructions posted. - Many Japanese accommodations (and malls) blast the heat in the winter but if it gets stuffy you can crack open the window easily and safely.
