Monday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi

Great location and friendly staff. Most of the staff can communicate well in English and are very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to multiple train lines and within walking distance to many places. However, the room facilities could be better maintained. Unfortunately, we saw a few cockroaches in the room at night, which affected our overall stay.

 Location is great,  close to Subway and JR .  Two supermarkets nearby, the underground of Uniqlo and Takeya buildings All the receptionists were helpful There was no instructions for the use of stove and laundry machine. This instruction could have been translated so easily by using AI and  posted on the wall next to the devices One thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness on the corridor floor from the reception to the elevator and the elevator floor were very dirty. They look like never been cleaned at all because the print mark of the sneakers on the elevator floor were there the five nights I stayed This has to be mopped and disinfected every day because everybody has to enter the room through the elevator if the elevator is not cleaned all the germs will be transfer into the room I feel there should be at training for the people who come to clean the hotel  and there should be a supervisor to look at the cleanliness and instruct these people to do the job conscientiously

Best stay so far! Room is large for Tokyo or even Japan. It’s clean and has almost everything you need. While the price may be slightly higher but the location is close to JR Okachimachi station which is very convenient. Can’t recommend it enough!

Perfect location in Ueno. 5mins walking to JR okachimachi and 6mins walk to subway station. Nearby halal mart and halal eateries. Walking distance to ameyoko shopping street. The apartment is perfect for 3-4 pax, complete with cooking utensils and kitchen, ironing facilities and washing machine with dryer.
