Hotel New Ueno Reviews

Best location and near Ueno station. The facility is old and the room size is small. The service is satisfactory.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Nuevo metro station, with numerous restaurants and museums nearby. It's ideal for tourists who enjoy shopping and exploring on foot but don't plan to spend much time relaxing at the hotel.

Good location for commuting by train. Room size is not too small, we can open 2 luggages easily. Hotel provides all the daily amenities. More importantly, staffs (in evening shift) that we talked too are all very nice with a great service mind. The only con side is sometimes you can hear some noise on the street. Overall Recommeded!

The staff are well spoken Japanese, They have water and an ice dispatching machine at the lobby so it's very convenient to refill it before your day. Location is very great, Go out from JR Ueno central Exit and Look on the Left you can see the Hotel Sign.

The location is perfect, just in front of the station. But the highlight of the hotel is the staff, everyone is very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything!

Room is small. Its far from station. Hotel front desk is terrible. Will.never stay here again.

The hotel is close to the station and there is a 24-hour restaurant downstairs. The room is spacious and well lit The bathroom is newer and cleaner than expected Will consider staying again if there is a chance

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from the Asakusa Exit of JR Ueno Station, very close! There are also many restaurants, convenience stores, department stores, and Ueno Park in the surrounding area... The hotel service staff are very kind and the room cleaning is very attentive ~ Will come again next time~

This time I had a terrible experience at this hotel. It was small and not clean. The bed was not flat and I couldn't move at all. I either fell on the bed or kicked the chair or table. It was different from the pictures. I didn't sleep well for two nights. I moved out immediately.

The room is very new and clean, and well-equipped. The best thing is that it is right opposite JR Ueno Station. As soon as you exit Shinobazu Pond, you can cross the street. Within 1-2 minutes, there is a family Mart as soon as you exit the back door.  There are sushi restaurants and restaurants downstairs, but they are not cluttered. There is a Hakata ramen shop that is very good. To go to Narita Airport, you can take the Keijo Electric Railway, which is fast and smooth. It only takes 5 minutes to walk through the entire JR Ueno Station on a straight road. I can also walk alone with my luggage. It is super convenient!
