Monterey Hotels in Tokyo

I stayed at this very hotel 10 years ago when I first visited Tokyo, and I still distinctly remember the vintage floor clock by the elevator. The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet side street in the heart of bustling Ginza. Ginza-Itchome subway station is directly opposite, and Ginza Station and Higashi-Ginza Station are also within easy walking distance. Ginza also provides a convenient airport limousine bus service to Narita Airport; for those who prefer to avoid the hassle of multiple subway transfers, this bus is an excellent choice, reaching Narita in just over an hour. Beyond this, Ginza offers an incredibly diverse and rich array of dining and shopping experiences. The hotel's service was also exceptional, making it highly recommended.

Location is within 5 minutes walk from Tokyo station. There is the connected underground Yaesu exit that is sheltered all the way to the station. Nearby are the Ginza and Nihonbashi stations that are less crowded to go to Shibuya or Harajuku. Many restaurants to choose from. There is a 7-11 across the street. The staff is able to speak English and are helpful. Breakfast has limited options but there are fresh and delicious. Hotel has microwave, laundry and ice machine located at level 2. Room is a bit small for 2 people but I think this is the standard size around the area. Very clean and fully equipped with bathroom amenities.

Breakfast was great, felt very ceremonial, you can see it in the photos. The location is excellent, with Ginza-itchome subway station just 200 meters away. Although the room was small, it was clean.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway station and a supermarket. It's super convenient for shopping in Ginza, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and they provided toiletries, water, cosmetics, and coffee, which was a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower was great. The front desk staff spoke good Chinese, and we had a wonderful time sightseeing, haha!

Across the street from a temple, Tori gate and all. Good size room, aircon controls that are understandable, even with the writing in Japanese, there is an English crib sheet. Breakfast is vast catering to European and asian tastes. Staff very helpful and friendly. You even get pyjamas and a toothbrush.
