All the staff are very friendly. I felt comfortable starting from check-in. Haha, I came alone and the room was spacious enough. The soundproofing seems to be good too. That small sofa is very comfortable haha. And the location is really good, it's almost right in front of the subway station. I visited Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Tokyo, and almost all took about 30 minutes. It's right in the center so it's nice to go around. Mejiro Station is on the JR line, so it's really easy to get to the airport by taking the Skyline. Even though I woke up a little late when leaving the country, I barely missed my flight and got on board thanks to the station being directly connected. In terms of cleanliness, it's not super clean, but it's neat and I think it's good for the price. Amenities are of course provided, and it was nice that they provided all the usual items such as toothbrushes, cotton pads, shower towels, cotton swabs, etc. The meal was so-so... I didn't necessarily request breakfast, but there are plenty of delicious options nearby, so I think it would be better to eat it at a restaurant.

Great hotel. Excellent customer service. Near the train station. Room is clean and new. WiFi is good. If you are staying in the superior room, do ask for the Mt Fuji view. We stayed on the 19th floor and we can view the beautiful Mt Fuji from our room.

The hotel is spotless clean, perfectly situated and well staffed. Yes the rooms are small but what else do you expect in Tokyo. They are clean, comfortable and there are plenty of little extra’s available. Breakfast is an eclectic mix, coffee available after 3pm and a neat selection of toiletries can be chosen everyday. Plus just out on the main road is one of the best ramen places around!

Excellent room, has many amenities and appliances (oven, washing machine) that I really needed. Bathroom is especially large and staff are very helpful and accommodating. A bit of a walk from the JR ticket exit but very close to the metro gates (marunouchi, fukutoshin). Very close to convenience stores and restaurants as well. Highly recommend staying here

This is a couple hotel. It is only for adults when it is scheduled. Because there are a lot of temporary reservations, there is no such thing. The result is quite pleasant. The room is not big (no wardrobe, only three hangers hanging on the wall) But the bathroom is large, wet and dry, and there is a bathtub. Toiletries are all available and of good quality (and condoms and sanitary napkins are provided free of charge), and free drinks and water are provided daily in the refrigerator. No breakfast. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, as well as large department stores, which are very close to the subway and tram stations. Especially the next (five minutes) metropolitan hotel and the bus to the airport. It feels good and the waiters are very good. The only regret is that I left a thermos in the room when I checked out but no one has contacted me. The picture will not be sent, and some netizens have sent it before.

The hotel is just few minutes away from the subway station. It is also very close to the airport bus pick up and drop of stop. This will make my want to stay there again next time I go to Tokyo. However, there are two things I want to point out is: 1. Breakfast is healthy but can provide a bit more food. There are yogurt, salad and toast only. Drinks are fine with coffee, tea orange juicy and water. 2. From 12-3pm is the cleaning time. Everyone has to leave the hotel. I think this is a bit too long. Perhaps the hotel can adjust the time and make it shorter.

I stayed for 7 nights on way to see family in OZ from the UK, my reason for choosing Sakura Ikebukuro was that I was stopping off to see my daughter who is doing a year at nearby Rikkyo University. The first thing is to say that there were very helpful reception staff who spoke good English. It's on a reasonably quiet street (for Tokyo). I stayed in a single room, there was a sign in the lobby that no visitors are allowed in rooms. I have no experience of Japanese hotels and was told they are generally very small, but this was fine, the bed was probably a small double, so generous for one. There was no cupboard space but some hooks on the wall to hang clothes, but that wasn't an issue for me. Below the window was a large shelf (with TV that I didn't use) and sockets to recharge my devices. There was an ensuite and the shower was over a small bath but plenty of hot water and good pressure. I took the breakfast option in the cafe across the road that was cheap but basic, thick white toast with butter and jam and coffee. You could buy yourself an extra boiled egg if you wanted one. I think my rating overall was a 4.5 but as that's not an option I've gone for the full 5 on the basis of how friendly and helpful the staff were. Overall good value for money for the single traveller.

You can get a bottle of water for free. There is an outlet and a light switch at the bedside. The corridors on each floor are also bright and clean. The desk is large enough for PC work. It seems that the water field in the room has been renovated recently. The water pressure in the shower is very strong. ◯ Bad points The staff is low in terms of language. The room has been renewed, such as wallpaper, and the smell of years is soaked. Some women may not be good at it. The wallpaper is a little dirty, but there are some things that stand out. The basement of the building is a sex shop. The temperature of the dry sauna is low, so it is not popular, and there is a line in the steam sauna. Overall, I think that cospa is very good if you are traveling for those who value savings, just sleeping, and staying while staying in the sauna. It is recommended to bring an air freshener. I stayed at the Ohedo for a single night. The hotel is very good for a short stay. The rooms are pretty small but it’s understandable since its location is in Tokyo. The staff are quite friendly. They also offer breakfast in the morning. You can ask for seconds on coffee, bread (western breakfast), rice (eastern breakfast). It was delicious and good quality. Overall the property is no frills and straight forward. However, it is clean, quiet and convenient. Ikebukuro train station is very near. There are also many restaurants and shops in close proximity.
