Didn't stay at the hotel but had a coffee at their outside cafe. Great coffee, quick service. Biked here on our way to the train station so also needed to use their restroom which was very clean. Thankfully coffee is easy to understand in any language as our waitress didn't know English, French or Spanish. Our guide spoke Slovenian so all went well.

Viejo y mal decorado. Nos enviaron a un edificio enfrente mas viejo y descuidado todavía. Dos pisos sin ascensor con las maletas La señora de recepción enfadada, lenta y muy desagradable. La habitación con una mezcla de muebles

Was für ein schönes Gebäude. Was für ein freundlicher, fürsorglicher Ober. Man hätte ewig auf der schönen Terrasse vor dem Hotel sitzen wollen und ein paar Drinks genießen und uns vom freundlichsten Ober „ever“ umsorgen zu lassen. Wir hatten 2 Einzelzimmer gebucht, die neu renoviert waren ebenso das Bad. Unsere Halbpension hatten wir nicht im Hotel, das Restaurant hatte an dem Abend Ruhetag. Wir haben Gutscheine für ein anderes Restaurant erhalten - und dies war ok.

Hôtel tout proche des gorges de Tolmin Petit déjeuner très bien Chambres grandes Produits de toilette dans la salle de bains Possibilité de dîner sur place mais c'est un peu cher, on peut trouver facilement moins cher dans la ville Accueil très bien

The hotel was clean and quite pleasant Our room was ok but there was on odd door on the ensuite that didnt give much privacy. We had breakfast in cluded and it was good. Quite pleasant staff and clean

We stayed two nights. We were on the top floor, 60 stairs up with broken elevator (it looked like it had been out of service a LONG time), a lot of steps when toting luggage. Lots of debris at top of stairs. Odd room layout, and poorest food for breakfast and dinner we experienced on our Slovenia trip. There aren't many options in Tolmin, but this is definitely not a good one.

I was told to find another hotel. Simply because I said that our reservation was for double bed. I did not even insist. Besides I realized later that when we checked in the recepcionist was smiling because we had to carry the lugagge up the stairs since elevator was in maintenance.

Centrale ligging in Tolmin maar dat is al snel. Hotel was in staat van vergaande glorie. Echter; er werd gerenoveerd. Kamer (deluxe) was goed, niet sfeervol. Prima bedden, goede douche maar gehorig. Met name overlast door gestommel van bovenburen. Ontbijt was uitgebreid maar moest wel zelf de tafel afruimen van de voorgangers. Tekort aan personeel? Op het terras gingen om 22.00 de lampen uit. Niet echt gastvrij te noemen.

I stayed here with my fiancee for 1 night before we festival in Tolmin and we were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the rooms, despite the renovation works, and the friendliness of the staff. I'm sure it'll be brilliant once the works have finished!
