The Oaks Ranch

We booked online. Knowing they are licensed, we still put in a request to bring a special bottle for our anniversary. No response that we couldn't. Happy if notified! Ambience lovely at the fire place to start our night with a glass of Rose and Chardonnay. Upon arrival, no champagne by the glass available, No pinot noir available, "supplier has not restocked". I only drink pinot noir. Surely, with all the lovely NSW wineries available, couldn't they just have 1 or 2 wines of pinot noir available? We had our own special bottle but weren't allowed to open it. We ordered King fish cudo and Haloumi as entrees. King fish not cured enough, haloumi was a thick slice, not marinated, slather of honey and herbs, was ok...Duck confit was lovely as was the beef rib. Condiments - ala french fries (WAY too much paprika, PLEASE, just keep it simple, no salt, no paprika...it over-rid the lovely confit duck and beef. Cauliflower gratin okay but, nothing to sing about. Staff were ok. We were asked after our main meals if we wish to order dessert, we said "yes". However, 1 menu was literally thrown at us at the table as though we had been difficult. Very disappointed. We didn't order and left. Being our 2nd visit here, and, we like to encourage local restaurants by supporting them, not sure if we will attend again.

This is our second time there. It is tucked away just of the Estate and the highway. Although prices are on the high side the quality of the food was exceptional. Staff are very slick and provide excellent service. Great cocktails. A quality establishment.

Sunday lunch was simply marvellous with great surrounds , friendly and attentive staff and superb food . Staff were very obliging and an onion allergy was catered for with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommend as the views and surrounding golf course layout is superb . Plenty of parking nearby . All in all a most enjoyable Sunday outing .

I recently had my daughter’s wedding there. Everything was perfect. The management and staff outstanding. The accommodation was right up there with the best in Sydney. Yes the beds were luxurious.

We loved our two nights at Oaks. The rooms were great, the restaurant and bar was nice, and the staff were great! As a result of our great time there, we are planning a family trip there for a group of 13. My wife was sick one night and the staff were very caring and attentive.

We had a lunch booking for my wife and her cousin’s birthday with a party of nine. Josh and his team made it a very memorable occasion, including personalised menu cards. Great service, food and drink. We also stayed for 2 nights as an anniversary treat. Fantastic accommodation and facilities. All the staff are wonderful but special mentions go to Kiera and Jackie, and of course, Josh. Thank you so much!

A most amazing experience - a hidden gem of the South Coast. Stayed for my wife 50th with family and friends and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away. Josh and the staff were simply superb, the food 5 star and the accomodation was luxurious. Laying by the pool, sipping sensational cocktails and a couple rounds of golf on a great little course. Cannot wait to come back for another stay or simply a day around the pool. Thank you guys.

Our suite had everything, they think of everything and the bed was amazing. Loved the pool area by the restaurant. The food is the best is the area without a doubt, we could not fault anything and the service was brilliant. Josh and the entire staff went out of their way to take care of us. We will definitely be back.

We had dinner at the Oaks Ranch and it was simply wonderful. We had anchovies, Haloumi, incomparable lamb ribs, and tuna ceviche for entree, and lamb shoulder, agnolotti, and cod for main, followed by affogato, donuts, and chocolate tart. It was all delicious, with attentive but non-intrusive service. All in all, a delight.
