DDan ThuThe Xieshan Jingshe Guesthouse is a bit difficult to find and reach if you don't have your own car, but once you can find transportation to get you there, you would have discovered a hidden gem. From the entrance through to the beautiful garden with tradional Chinese landscaping to the classically decorated guest rooms and the museum-like common rooms, everything at the guesthouse was absolutely stunning! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious Chinese noodle soup, with fruit, a small cake, and tea. We were very happy we had booked an extra day there, to do nothing but enjoy the garden and our room!

SSuannuomiThe hotel is very close to the train station, and it only takes ten minutes to walk from the room to the train station. The lady boss is very considerate and will get up early to cook eggs for the guests. When checking out in the morning to catch the train, the boss enthusiastically reminded me not to forget to take the eggs, which was very touching. There are coffee and other drinks and small snacks and desserts available at the front desk. The room also provides a washing machine, a disinfection cabinet and a smart toilet. The price-performance ratio of this hotel is quite high. The only drawback is that the window sound insulation is a bit poor. You can hear the sound of the train, and wearing earplugs does not affect your sleep. The hotel has free parking, and it is very convenient to park and return the car when renting a car for a self-driving tour.

Good ventilation even though smoking was allowed, no musky mouldy smell, everywhere smelt great. Had a great view from my room too. They had kids amenities like bedroom slippers, toothbrush etc. Breakfast buffet at the hotel had a great spread and tasted great. Additionally, there is a small theme park within 5mins walking distance from the hotel, my kid enjoyed it. Would recommend this hotel 👍🏻

2. **Beyond Expectation Service:** The service was so thoughtful. The auntie at the B&B proactively helped us with our luggage both at check-in and check-out, and even offered us hiking poles! The owner also reminded us about reservation details. Truly a warm and welcoming B&B!
3. **Perfect Stay Experience:** There's free parking, which is super convenient for those driving. The room was clean and tidy, with strong and consistent hot water, and they even provided disposable bath towels as an option. The air conditioning was powerful; even though it gets cold in the mountains at night, we felt perfectly comfortable in the room. Every detail showed the owner's care and thoughtfulness.
Overall, this is a gem of a B&B that will double your happiness on your Fanjingshan trip! Five-star review!

LLee415Location is very convenient nearby the train station and next door to the tourist bus station where you can take the bus to Fanjingshan for 35yuan. The hotel staff was very helpful in assisting me with my tours. The room is clean and comfortable. The bed is very comfy for sleeping; not hard like most Chinese beds. I would recommend this hotel for any foreign solo travelers.

MM265194****This is the most cost-effective accommodation in my trip to Guizhou. The whole is still very new, the surrounding environment is very good, although Tongren is hot, it is still very comfortable to walk here after the sun goes down, there is a big stream behind you to play in the water. Breakfast is fixed, but the amount is very sufficient. The most important thing is that the service is very good and helped us solve the ticketing problem of Fanjing Mountain. Less than one kilometer from the East Gate, it is convenient to eat, but it will not be very lively and noisy. Hotel photos forgot to take 😂

SSteven DowsonWe arrived via two buses and a taxi, next time we'll drive and there is lots of parking available at the front of the hotel. Receptionists and staff all very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean, great shower, squat toilet. Hotel is a short walk from West Gate, you can follow the road or cut through the trees. We ate at the hotel first evening upon arrival and the food was good home cooking, we also had the noodle breakfast which was basic but good. We were lucky to have great weather on Fanjingshan but it's a stiff hike from West Gate and our legs were sore the next day. After our day on the mountain we stopped at a restaurant close to the gate, and returned here on our second night because the food was fresh, tasty, good value, and they have an excellent view of the mountain opposite (see photos). On our second day we took a taxi down the mountain to the nearest town (taxis use the charging points opposite the hotel) but we had trouble getting back and were fortunate to hitch a lift. The West Gate is preferable to East Gate but it's better to have a car.

227huashengIf your goal is to visit Fanjing Mountain, this hotel is an excellent choice. Its location is superb, just about 100 meters outside the East Gate of the Fanjing Mountain scenic area, right on the main road leading there. It's very visible and easy to find. While the hotel facilities aren't brand new, they are practical and convenient to use. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, to the right, and the food was quite tasty. To the left outside the hotel, you'll find plenty of shops and amenities, including supermarkets, fruit stores, and restaurants. This location is very convenient if you plan an early morning hike up the mountain. By the way, Fanjing Mountain itself is amazing, truly ethereal and definitely worth visiting.
