I stay at the Exchange Hotel over the Christmas period for about a week each year. It is great accomodation, fuss free and I always look forward to staying there.

The bar person was new and didn’t know where my room was so no help with checking in.One bathroom for 8 rooms. The rooms and bathroom were nicely renovated. Only stayed one night even though I had paid for two nights for two people and I was on my own. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Exchange Hotel was in a good location. The food was amazing, and the serves were extremely generous. The bed was one of the most comfortable I had ever slept on, and we had a very large balcony area.

I believe this is the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed at. The new manager is a sour mean person. Clearly this person needs training in customer service. Lets hope the owner can see the light soon.

However, only negative is terrible water pressure in shower.

Quiet, pretty country town with a convenient.dining facilities. Door handlle needs repair and batteries in aircondition remote needs replacing.
