June 2024 - AVOID THIS PLACE. OVERPRICED AND VERY POOR SERVICE We stayed at this hotel with family and kids, and it does not provide 5-star quality service. The staff, primarily from the eastern parts of Turkey, do not speak much English and lack tourism experience. The hotel is severely understaffed and struggles to maintain operations effectively. They are so cost-cutting that they don't even turn on the lights in the lobby, leaving it dark and unwelcoming. The food in the main buffet restaurant is far below the standard for a 5-star hotel that charges $600 to $1000 per night for a standard room. The a la carte restaurants are also extremely overpriced. The buffet restaurant serves the same repetitive food every day. It lacks taste and feels standard. Drinks in the bars and restaurants are mostly local, and the bartenders do not speak English. Candyland operates only from 10 to 12 and 13 to 17, making it uncomfortable to stay there during the hot hours. There aren't enough lifeguards on duty, posing a significant safety issue, especially with construction happening around the resort while kids are running around. The concierge service failed to deliver on transportation. Navigating the hotel is challenging due to the staff's limited English proficiency. This hotel is not suitable for Western tourists and should be avoided at all costs. The water sports location is excessively overpriced, Hundreds of Euros for a 10 minute sport activitiy, charging three times the prices of Miami, France, or Spain. Additionally, the photographer inside the resort charges hundreds of dollars fora few photos, making it feel like a scam. Overall, we will NOT stay here again. While the water is nice, the hotel and its brand do not justify the high prices they charge. THIS IS NOT a 5 Star Hotel at all...Avoid coming here!
