30º Hotels - Hotel Pineda Splash

Stayed for three nights half board with 2 adults and 4 children (9, 14, 16 and 16). We had two rooms which were clean with balconies. Great walk in shower, air conditioning, tv with bbc news, storage ok for 3 nights (would have been a struggle for 14 nights). Rooms were quiet except for drunk people shouting in the corridors late at night but not the hotels fault! We walked 5 minutes to the train station and got the train into Barcelona. It took just over an hour and a train went every 1/2 hour. Unfortunately the ticket office wasn’t open so had to use the machines and the only option was adult return so quite expensive for all of us but a great day out! Got seats ok on way there but had to stand for half of journey back which was hard on my 9 year old after walking all day. You can get a land train or the normal train to the next town Calella. We got the normal train as the same price and quicker. Land train would be nice if you have young children. Calella was bigger with more shops and good value restaurants in the main shopping streets (more expensive on the beach). Food at the hotel was ok. We all found things to eat. We were happy with half board as drinks were good value around €3 each. On the last day we got involved in one of the games which was good fun and the kids loved the slides (even though they said the water was freezing!) We had a good time and happy with what we got for the price we paid - no complaints

Overall was a nice holiday. We had a lovely time with our 3 year old. Food overall was good. I’m fussy and had different meats, chips/pasta and salad which was nice. My partner enjoyed the food. We stayed for 7 nights and had lunch out 4 times. Room- cleaners were lovely. 3 single beds (2 pushed together) room was small but fine for us. Nice balcony, clean bathroom. Staff - all lovely Entertainment- kids club was cute, there was always day time games, kids mini disco but not much after. Pools- we’re all lovely (although freezing cold), plenty of sunbeds and daughter had a lovely time. She loved the little play park. Area- very quiet area, we had a few lunches out which were good, plenty of little shops, supermarkets about. Can’t imagine much of a nightlife as didn’t see any bars. Close to train station, we took the train to Barcelona for the day which was fun. Have to pay tourist tax, you get a beach towel for free, safe €25, didn’t use wifi, good system for drinks - have to take your empty glass up to get a new drink.

Went for a week with my husband and two boys (11 months and 6 years old), hotel looked lovely from the outside and reception area, the rooms were tiny we had a very very small room with a travel cot in the middle could not move at all, the floors in the bedrooms where lifted and separated some even screwed in we could not let our 11 month old crawl along the floor the same with the corridors! We asked for a quiet room, we most definitely did not have a quiet room people shouting and banging doors at 3am ! Breakfast was good but very much the same every day, bread was not the freshest.. good choice off pools along very cold! Not much in the town of pineda de mar, calella and santa susanna were lovely, there was one man in the bar kiko I think his name was, he was not the most pleasant.. David on entertainment team was amazing! Check out was easy but not even asked did you enjoy your stay nothing, wouldn't return to the hotel to be honest!

At first, the hotel appeared clean, and the staff were friendly, which gave us a good initial impression. However, things quickly went downhill. Our room was infested with ants, which became a significant issue during our stay. On top of that, I became ill one night, possibly from something I ate at the hotel, which only added to the discomfort of our visit. On a positive note, the bar and pool staff were fantastic—quick, attentive, and really made an effort to ensure guests were well taken care of. Unfortunately, the good service couldn't outweigh the bigger issue we encountered after we returned home: a fine from the hotel claiming we had broken rules. There were 12 of us in our group, and not once during our stay did anyone approach us to say we were breaking any rules or doing anything wrong. It felt incredibly unfair to receive this charge after the fact, without any prior warning or communication during our time there. So, while the hotel has its good points, I would advise future guests to be cautious—you may end up with unexpected fines without ever being told there was an issue during your stay. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this hotel due to the risk of being fined post-departure.

I will agree with others and say that after reading some of the review on here, we were extremely skeptical and worried about coming here, but let me tell you how relieved we were that these reviews were inaccurate. We stayed for a week in September 2024 as a family of 8 adults, 2 children. Reception: Friendly staff, check in we had to wait maybe 10 minutes due to arriving at the same time as a couple others but we did not experience long queues like others have said in previous reviews. You don’t get access to your room until 2pm so if you arrive before you are able to store bags in a room. I think the hotel do make this known but just a reminder there is a tourism tax payable on check in. Pool towels are free to rent however if you want them changed then it is €1 per towel. You can rent table tennis paddles from reception for €10 which you get back. Housekeeping: Rooms were cleaned everyday to a high standard, but only if you put the cleaning sign on the door. If you don’t want your towels changed, you just have to leave them hung up and you are rewarded with water tokens that you can save up and buy the premium ice creams, cocktails etc. We saved ours up for the last day/night and treated ourselves to some strawberry daiquiris and cornettos. Bar: Lots of selection of soft drinks, san Miguel, sangria on tap, 4ish all inclusive cocktails which are tasty. You also get discounts for some premium cocktails if you are staying on an all inclusive basis. Bar operates on a card system, which keeps areas tidy. Often a queue during the evenings but did go down quickly. The bar staff were really friendly and incredibly hardworking, with some of them even working in the buffet restaurant too. Definitely deserved all the tips they got! And it was lovely to hear them ringing the bell on multiple occasions signalling when they received a tip. Food: Now as a fussy eater this was something I was really worried about. I couldn’t believe how much choice there was, I always managed to have a plateful of food even if it was just pizza and pasta some meal times. Some of our favourites were the chicken meatballs, beef steaks, and donner/chicken kebabs. There was always fruit and selection of cakes for pudding too. Breakfast was the same most mornings but always a variety of English breakfast style ingredients, pastries, toast, fruit, cereals. Animation: Jamie, David and the team work exceptionally hard, they put on some amazing activities for both adults and children, making sure to include everyone. They do incredibly long hours and always give you 110%. We had the most fun with them. Winners also get prizes, this can be cocktails ticket, hats, purse, champagne etc. On our last day we spent most of it inside due to showers and therefore took part in all the activities, we had a blast! Rooms: Not massively spacious rooms but big enough for a week stay. Storage was fine in mine and my partners double room however my mum, stepdad, brother and sister
