The Novotel Toronto Centre Reviews

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only thing is parking is not included. At the indoor parking lot it said people staying at the hotel can pay at the hotel when they check-in, so I planned to do that, only to find out the hotel charged more than double the amount for keeping my car there for 24 hours.

The hotel location is perfect and the check in experience is quite smooth. We checked in early without any hassle. The staff is cooperative and all tourist spots are within walking distance.

Room is clean. Location is very good. There is Union station in 10mins walk. It is very convenient travel both airport to hotel. Many restaurants surrounding the hotel too. The only thing is front desk max. Two people working and sometimes single person which cause me time. In general, that hotel is great.

Service in the breakfast room was superb. Cleaning personnel were very helpful. Reception can be more friendlier. Always making you attent of the things which can go wrong or the deadlines instead of telling good things about surroundings.

Location wise is great 👍🏻 The Novotel Toronto Centre is just steps away from the St. Lawrence Market and Market Gallery, —the heart of the city’s culinary identity for more than a century—legendary architecture, The Distillery Historic District, fabulous shopping area such as Eaton Centre shopping mall and Winners 😃and other must-see attractions..all walking distance especially the union station 🚉 And after a long day exploring Toronto unwind with a glass of wine or a classic cocktail at Café Nicole Bistro&Bar, Great deal for Happy Hour 4pm-6pm $7canadian Aperol spritz , house wines , beers and $5canadian sparkling wine .. And great amenities, Fitness gym

In-Room Safe, with a clean and spacious room , Booked newly renovated superior king room and got a tremendous deal upon booking ahead of time which included breakfast,👍🏻 Breakfast is pretty decent more than enough to start your day, I love the avocado and kale shake ,and mix berries shake it’s really delicious 😋 😊 And Thanks to Ana she’s been very friendly and helpful with a great customer service 👍🏻 We had a pleasant stay 👍🏻Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Location was really good but service was awful and hotel supplies were lacking. No slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste or bottled water were given. When asked, they said the $300/night hotel does not come with slippers, and that if I need toothbrush and toothpaste, I had to come down to the frontdesk to get them myself. I was disappointed overall.

Rooms are modern and in good shape. Self-parking in the basement was CAD $45 per night. It’s near the Hockey Hall of Fame and St. Lawrence Market. There is a row of half a dozen mostly bars and restaurants with outdoor seating across the street.

At first glance, the hotel looks very new. The back of the hair dryer is covered in dust. There are two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo... I was speechless when I opened my head. I could only console myself that it was someone else's foundation that was not washed off. What else can I say? At 9 o'clock in the morning, the room service knocked hard on the door. Do you still need to help me clean the house if I only stay for one night?

The room was very good. I don't know if it was upgraded or for some other reason, but it was a large suite with complete facilities. It was quite new, clean and tidy. Toiletries and bathrobes and slippers were provided. Luggage could be stored at the front desk. The service attitude was good and patient (because I didn't understand English, I relied entirely on a translator. The front desk communicated with me very carefully using the translator). It was a pity that I had to go somewhere else. I only stayed there for one day. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.

The location is excellent, the supermarket is within walking distance, it takes 5 minutes to walk to St. Lawrence, 10 minutes to walk to Union Station, and then walk forward to CN Tower. The room is clean and tidy, the staff is nice. The breakfast is good.

The environment is pretty good. It's in the city, close to several popular tourist attractions and can be reached on foot. The Toronto Tower is only about a 10-minute walk away. There are many snack bars downstairs. Overall, it feels pretty good.

The first night was arranged in a room on the second floor facing the street. Motorcycles roared in the middle of the night and music from the restaurant opposite started in the morning. It was a very bad night. The toilet in this room is in the middle of the room, and the sound insulation between the upper and lower floors is poor. The sofa bed is at the entrance facing the toilet on the upper floor. Every time I flushed the toilet upstairs, I felt that the water would penetrate the floor and rush down. After communicating with Ctrip and myself, I changed to a room on the top floor that was not close to the street the next day. It was much quieter, but there were common problems in the rooms: the room was small, the mattress was uncomfortable and creaked at the slightest movement. The sofa bed was of very poor quality. It felt like each spring was resting on my bones when I slept. The parking lot was dirty and old. I will not choose this hotel next time

Facilities: Very good, the old building is renovated, and the outer corridor feels like traveling through time! Hygiene: Great! Environment: Good. Located in the city center and by the lake, convenient for sightseeing. Service: Very thoughtful, good breakfast.
