The Willowdale Hotel Toronto North York

The staff is really kind.

We stayed here for about a week. Not a very big hotel, but super nice service. Just need to go ask at or dial the front desk, and they would come help us in minutes or provide us with mostly anything, e.g. water bottles, unlocking the bathroom door (the door was locked from outside), mirror, tooth paste, shops recommendations, etc. Free parking was a bonus. Quiet area. Not convenient if you're not driving. Downside was that the bathtub had hair when we first got in. Some days they made the bed and replenished shower items. Some day they did not. Housekeeping work was slightly different everyday which was interesting. However, you can always ask for what you need. The diverter valve was not working properly. Some water was still flowing through the tub faucet after switching to the showerhead, but this was not a big problem for us. It was overall a decent stay. People working there were friendly.

I really loved the bed it was the most comfortable mattress ever!!

Certainly NOT what I thought I had booked. Place is very primative (no elevator), dirty (lobby with dirt and dead leaves all over, room dirty, toilet plugged), tiny TV. Will not ever stay here again; do NOT recommend.

Tv not working properly, room half done (bed in same condition when you got back in the evening as when we left in the morning. Chairs in the leaving room in poor condition.

I was disappointed with the property and room given the price point. Carpet did not look like it was vacuumed, furniture was dated, no elevator with a heavier suitcase (although the gentleman did offer to carry it up the stairs for me). I would not stay here again at the price I paid.

Fantastic staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Good location. Minutes to the 401. Great Italian restaurant, Paesano's, just down the street. Beautiful, clean suite. Really enjoyed my stay.

This hotel has very nice beds so we both awoke well rested.
