West Queen West Hotel

Wasn’t what I would expect for a hotel but then again it’s really old so I guess.. they tried to make the most of it but it’s literally better to be referred as stop, sleep and go

Dodgy, dirty, unprofessional and rude staff. Go anywhere else in Toronto but not here; let this be your warning: I wish I had read the reviews before I came to this hotel and it would have saved me a big hassle.

No windows, shared bathroom, desperately in need of repairs and updates. air Co divining is a vent in the ceiling and centrally controlled. It is in the dinghies lowest end neighborhood of Toronto. So many homeless people and dirty streets. Did not feel safe and NO UBER/CAB drivers even know about this place. REMOVE THIS PLACE from any and all hotel booking sites!!!

worst experience ever at a hotel (if you can even call this a hotel). This place should be shut down. No door handles, stained sheets, what looks like mold in bathroom and overall unkept and very dirty!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we had no other choice as a last-minute option and had an awful experience the entire time, right from booking to check out. The one other staff member we interacted with was absolutely wonderful and deserves way better than this place, however the manager is incredibly rude and inconsiderate both over the phone and in person and she doesn't seem to have any concept of basic respect for others. The most expensive option, the "Queen" room for $50 more than the cheapest room offered, is the exact same as the other room options (double bed, 22-23 square feet) but the only difference between this room and the "budget" double room is you get a window and an ensuite bathroom instead of having to share the communal bathroom the other rooms have to use. The room looked fine at first but upon closer inspection was completely falling apart. The bed itself is very thin and loud with pillows that feel like they're 20 years old and upon pulling back the bottom sheet and mattress pad to check for bedbugs, it was covered in disgusting red and brown stains and the mattress cover itself had massive holes in it, providing not even an attempt at protection against bedbugs. The uncovered outlet right next to the bed is a massive fire hazard, as well as a great space for pests to hide. The door handle may as well have just been there for show as it was barely attached to the door and made it a struggle to lock the door when exiting. Do not be fooled by the prices and "budget" options, this place is not even worth being a last resort.

I stayed at the queens west hotel for three nights recently. I was not sure what to expect when i booked besides the price being very affordable . As soon as a checked in, the front desk was very accommodating and also explained in detail where i could dine in the area. I was very impressed at the cleanliness and safety of the queens west. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was the worst experience ever. This place is sketchy as heck!! It’s shouldn’t be allowed to call this a hotel! The lady who “helped” is was super rude and incredibly unfriendly. She hung up in the middle of a phone call. The information that is on the site is incorrect and than she makes you pay for stuff. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! Even the neighborhood is very bad. This hotel should not be on business.
