Riu Nautilus - Adults Only

We absolutely love the Nautilus, lovely hotel, perfect rooms, excellent food and beautifully situated. The staff are amazing and make you very welcome. Not too long a transfer from the airport. Well done to all the staff and thank you.

Nice hotel, very clean, rooms are a bit tight for space but if you put the table and 2 chairs on the balcony it opens it up a little. We thought the towels were ok and changed daily if that's what you want. A/C works fine and we needed it, 29 degree's on one day and if your in a sea facing room you get the sun till about 3 in the afternoon. Sun loungers. The usual muppets putting towels down at the crack of dawn and buggering off and the hotel doing nothing about it, the whole of our holiday we never got a lounger around the pool! Mealtimes Breakfast proved stressful, went down around 9.30. and the place is rammed, you end up hovering around till a table becomes available so you don't really get a choice where you want to sit. Food was hit and miss, only one type of milk available, streaky bacon which generally was either undercooked or overcooked, same with the fried eggs, no English sausages and the the beans were more sauce than beans, queue for the 2 toasters and the marmalade wasn't marmalade. on the plus side........................HP SAUCE!!!! Evening Meal. A bit more of a laid back experience, guests seemed to space themselves out timewise for there tea. The food itself didn't set the world alight, the usual buffet as in most hotels, catering for the masses but you would always find something even if it was just salad and chips. Entertainment. Something on every night, we had ABBA and Elvis tribute acts on which were very good, the other nights were local acts who were also ok and it whiled away an hour. Unfortunately if you didn't get a seat in the theatre at least an hour before kick off you ended up sitting with an obstructed view of the stage. The act was it, nothing else, not even background music after 10.00. if you wanted to sit with a nightcap before bed. Waiter service was excellent, price of drinks was what you would expect in a hotel but its a little bit galling when you pay 4 euros for a bottle of beer when you can get the exact same thing from a bar near the marina for less than half that price. Would we go again................probably not, its a big and busy hotel and caters for the masses not the individual, which is not what we go for generally. Loved the vibe around the marina and would consider a revisit here though, although the amount of "LUCKY LUCKY" men on the prom is to be seen to be believed!!

First time in southern Spain me and my son came to Rui nautilaus we didn’t do evening entertainment or pool we like sea and beach also lots to go out and see evenings so can’t say about that pool looked lovely and clean thow. If u want a peaceful holiday lovely food and nice clean room cleaned every day Rui nautilaus is for u staff r always ready to help u if u have a problem with anything at all just go to reception and ask big shout to xaviar on recption don’t think I’ve spelt that right he’s nice helpful man all staff great work well together me and my son loved it and will visit again it’s adults only great for older people who like to just chill bars nice small my only complaint would be sunbeds bit hard for me didn’t like them loved the cleanliness threw out the hotel as I like clean place food was lovely 2 no complaints there from us go and try and see for your self our first visit to southern Spain was great all the best Julie and son Aaron room 107 thank u for lovely wk Rui

Hotel kept really clean by all hardworking friendly hotel personnel. Decent size room with spacious bathroom with large walk in shower and also good size wardrobe. Food usual fare for large hotel with plenty of choice. Plenty of sun beds around spacious pool area. No problems with Wi-Fi. In ideal position overlooking beach. Would we go back simply yes.

Lovely relaxing break, from check in to leaving had no complaints at all. Definitely not for folks wanting a lively holiday but this suited us perfectly. Mainly older generation visitors which helps with people being respectful. Javier at check in was professional and informative, the Tui rep. Manoli was the best we have encountered in 40 odd years of travelling. Walk to the right and you are at the Marina, to the left to the lovely La Carhuela. Plenty beds but if you wanted the prime spots you had to be up around 07.15. Small towels in bathroom were only thing we could remotely find fault with. First time to a RIU hotel but will not be our last. Food was delicious and plentiful and drinks were of reasonable price. Highly recommend

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel, food great and plenty of choice, but poor quality sausages for breakfast, staff very friendly and professional, room cleaned every day to a high standard But Towels for a 4 star Hotel very poor and thine, Only thing that let's this hotel down is the Entertainment! And the early Morning rush for the sunbeds.
