Carihuela Beach Apartamentos

Just got back from a wonderful stay in Torremolinos at the wonderful Carihuela Beach Apartments, stunning sea view balcony and the street side is opposite the fantastic Bar America where the food and friendly service was exquisite. Perfect relaxing break thanks #torremolinos

Location is so noisy in front of property is a beach bar that was still playing music at 02.30. The studio we stayed in was nice and clean and big but that’s the positives . Property not suitable for children & elderly no lifts only steep stairs over 40 to our studio on 4th floor more floors above. Ground floor would be so noisy bar & shop next door. The furniture is so dated & dirty. No Kettle No Toaster even though advertised of having. Not even a Bread knife or any sharp knife. I asked for a bottle opener got told they sell them in the supermarket. Why would you have a writing bureau in a studio so bizarre. Studio had 2 large windows but only one shutter on one of them and not the other. Also advertised outdoor furniture our studio didn’t have a balcony so obviously no furniture so why advertise it Would never recommend or stop here again . I am awaiting response from ***********

This place is a must, super friendly excellent service, will help and advice you on food.Only young staff but wow you couldn't ask for more. Carry on what your doing you are amazing This also on the beach front great for people watching and chilling.

I have given 2 rather than 1 as the mark is for cleanliness which wasn’t a problem the room was spotless, smelled fresh and the cleaner who booked us in was a lovely lady. There the compliments end, we booked this studi with “city views, kitchenette, dining area, seating area” as no sea view ones available. This is one room next to a shop, you go behind their outdoor shoe display and there is a patio door, it is one room, at the back there is a couple of cupboards and sink that could loosely be termed a kitchenette I suppose, and there is a wet room/ disabled bathroom. It was very clean and there is air con, but no windows or outside space or view of anything. There is noise outside the door continually as people shop, and eat and drink at the bars outside, till 3 am! Then knock on your door. The owner said sorry for the inconvenience and you should call the police. Didn’t feel safe or comfortable here so left after one night as no seafront rooms available. We made a big mistake booking this, don’t do the same I cannot believe anyone would choose to stay here, however seafront rooms may be a different story but it’s a very noisy corner so don’t expect peace and quiet on your balcony. AND it wasn’t that cheap!!! I’m not a luxury hotel person I like basic accommodation as we are out a lot but in my opinion this studio is not fit to let, and don’t let disability access fool you as you would never navigate a wheelchair into here

We were emailed a code number to enter building but on arrival there was no key pad . Gentleman let us in to a shop front in busy tiny street. Photos I looked at on booking had sea views. The studio apartment was equipped for disabled person which i never requested. Couldn't open windows because constant people outside in bars and restaurants. Street cleaner outside door at 3am. Market stall outside front door couldn't get in without having to move stall. €688 for a week, definitely wouldn't recommend even if disabled noise all night.

Fantastic location. Our studio apartment had an amazing view overlooking the promenade and the beach. A great sun trap up until about 2pm. All the restaurants and bars are also on your doorstep. Small supermarket nearby & a nice bakery. Great facilities. Apartment really well cleaned every day. Staff friendly. Priced reasonably.
