EVERYTHING WAS EXTREMELY QUALITATIVE EXCEPT FOR A WAITER AT BREAKFAST, WHO WASEN'T VERY KIND OTHERWISE THE OTHER STAFF WERE LOVELY AND HELPFUL VERY NICE QUALITY OF THE MEAL AS WELL ;....................................................

Incredible hidden gem! The restaurant was five star and our villa (#45) is somewhere we would consider spending a month to work remote. Felt like we truly were at a cozy home, so well appointed. Loved every inch of this property which kept revealing itself with more hidden locations and spaces through the stay. Staff was exceptional!!

Es un lugar para disfrutar de la estancia. El restaurante merece la pena, aunque hay que vigilar porque hay platos de precio elevado que no son gran cosa. El agua de grifo te la cobran a precio de oro. No obstante, merece la pena por muchas razones.

Décor sublime et calme, décoration réussie, personnel très accueillant. Les chambres sont reposantes. Quelques notes moins bien : la carte du bar (évitez les anchois à 22 euros !) et la relative fraîcheur de la piscine du spa. Spa, qui par ailleurs, est magnifique.

Magnifique endroit. De belles prestations et un service irréprochable. Nous recommandons! Seul bémol: les piscines non chauffées. Il est regrettable que ce ne soit indiqué nulle part, et donc de réserver des chambres avec piscine, plus chères, pour se rendre compte sur place qu'elles ne sont en fait pas utilisables car non chauffées. Bien dommage!

Positives: -Great location, close to the best beaches of the Costa Brava. -Staff were helpful and generally friendly organising activities including horse riding for our child. Negatives: -We we’re not advised in advance that our dog was not allowed in any of the restaurants (including the breakfast room). Not even on the restaurant terrace. We paid €60 per night for the dog. This is incredibly disappointing and unlike most 5 star dog friendly hotels around Europe. The only place the dog is welcome across the whole hotel is on a separate terrace. Asking for breakfast on the terrace was incredibly difficult and they were less than pleased- the lady at the restaurant reception was rude about the request. During a rainy day, this creates problems. Best not be a dog “friendly” hotel if in fact it’s basically not. -The garden suite terrace requires ****ing and a proper clean -leaves and paper left on the floor Disappointing that this was not done in advance of our arrival. -The garden suites are noisy. We were woken several times by late arrivals from dinner and cars on the driveway. -On certain days, the noise from the road is evident. -Room service dinner (ordered because of the dog situation), was bland. The pesto pasta could easily pass as store bought. Fries were cold. -Temperature in the gym is a sweltering 26c because of heating.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The staff was excellent and very attentive. Breakfast was of very high quality with a lot of choice. The spa was very nice even if the hot water jakuzi was a bit small. The room was very large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We took the electric bikes that are given free by the hotel and really enjoyed the short route to Pals. We definitely want to go back when the weather is nicer.

Fabulous property even better staff. We arrived by car, nice warm welcome, smooth check in process, straight into some tennis. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. I recommend this resort to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
