L Arc - El Rincón de Pau

I, along with my two kids (ages 15 and 18) and my husband stayed at this place for a week. My brother in law and his wife and their two children (ages 14 and 17) stayed as well under a separate reservation. We booked our stay here because my husband has a cousin who bought a house nearby and was celebrating the family. Prior to the reservation, I wrote emails informing them that my children could not share a bed and that I noticed they only had two double beds. I asked if they had a cot available because it is mentioned on their website that they did. After being told so I reserved my stay. A few days before my stay, I again emailed reminding them of the cot and confirmed our arrival. Upon arriving, no one was present to accept us. We had to call the number on the reservation hoping someone would answer because we had no idea what to do and where we could park our car. Someone finally answered and arrived 20 minutes later. When the lady arrived so told me they had no cots and they don’t usually rent to families. While, I saw a family leaving one of the rooms. She was very rude, I accommodating and I had to call my husband cousin to speak with the woman. The next day she finally sends a bed saying it was being used. During our stay, two days later to be exact, I receive an email stating that reminder of the payment must be by bank transfer. This was never discussed prior to our arrival and was not the form of payment used to reserve. So we were quite confused and said we would pay the way it was agreed via credit card. All in all the place was clean but very dark. It would have been nicer if I could have relaxed during my stay rather than be stressed out by the rudeness of the caretakers. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to others. If you want a carefree and peaceful vacation where you can enjoy your family and outings then this place is NOT for you. They made my visit very unpleasant and it saddens me because it was a trip that we were so excited about visiting.
