Beautiful place, nice pool.perfect for family. The staff worked and service was good

The Hotel premises are very beautiful but the shower was cold. Service did not help. Restaurant was good but could be cheaper. You get there per boat

We really liked Mawamba lounge. It really gives us the “Pura Vide” It’s a special experience - when sleeping at night, we hear the current waves, when waking up in the morning, we hear the bird sounds. The room doesn’t have WiFi, but we actually didn’t mind (as we could really be relaxed during the stay). It is close to the town, and have a natural path walking to town.

Lovely hotel, There is a national park right next door where you can go and see all sorts of animals from geckos to sloths monkeys and if you are very lucky, you might see a jaguar! . Accommodation wise there is not hot water in the showers, with a window along the top of the bathroom. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that the person next door is saying. Over there are lots of things to see and do such as kanooing, night and day walks. Lovely pool with an amazing food at the restaurant, I recommend the cheeseburger I very much enjoyed my stay.

Basic but wonderful lodge accommodation with the noise of the forest coming through the glassless (but meshed) windows. Beautiful location. Great staff esp. in the bar and restaurant. Lovely pool if you have time. Food is good enough but you are not here for a gourmet experience. You really do not have to go far to see the local wildlife with much on offer just in the grounds!

Hotel itself far too basic for the cost. Bathrooms awful, food disappointing. Breakfast dreadful - buffet covered in flies, eggs and omelettes not nice. Location amazing though Guides and local nature opportunities brilliant Saw turtles, sloths, monkeys, frogs, huge spiders and iguanas

It is quite an experience and a privilege to be somewhere so remote. The public areas, bar, pool and restaurant are really good but the cabins themselves are where it takes a deep breath. No air con, no windows and you will share the shower with an array of lizards but that is effectively the deal to stay somewhere sandwiched on a ***** of land between river and sea. Lots of wildlife everywhere including a caiman when we were kayaking, toucans and lots of monkeys. I would recommend it and I would go again but sleeping there is tough. All the staff are great as is the service - thank you guys!

Hotel located in the midst of nature. Beautiful garden with an unparalleled richness of flowers. Great starting point for tours by boat. Rooms are clean and cozy. The food in the restaurant is good, great breakfast buffet and good selection of food for lunch and dinner, nice location on the pool. People are very friendly. We have done several tours with our tour guide Piero, who is extremely knowledgeable and has a gift of explaning nature in a very authentic way - highly recommended.
