Nous avons aimé le cadre et l'ameublement du château.
Nous n'avons pas aimé avoir à monter deux étages dans l'escalier étroit en colimaçon. Les restaurants sont à La Roche-Posay, à 9km.

Wat een prachtige lokatie! Het chateau ligt midden in het platteland tussen de velden met zonnebloemen en graan niet heel ver van la Roche Posay en l'Angle sur l'Anglin, het mooiste dorpje van Frankrijk. De kamers zijn stijlvol en luxe met goede bedden en een mooie grote badkamer. Er zijn voldoende picknickplekken op het terrein en er is een mooi zwembad voorzien van ligstoelen. De vrouw des huizes verzorgt 's ochtends het ontbijt aan tafel en haar man Jean Pierre staat altijd voor je klaar. Erg vriendelijke mensen. We hebben genoten!

Een prachtig kasteel en de gastheer en gastvrouw waren super lief en behulpzaam. Ook de kamers waren prachtig en er was een mooi zwembad met veel ligbedden. In de tuin waren veel zitplekken aan de vijver met zwanen. Je eigen eten en drinken konden gekoeld bewaard worden in één van de koelkasten, in de keuken- en eetruimte, speciaal voor de gasten. Het chateau is erg afgelegen, het ligt eigenlijk een beetje verscholen. De regio is erg rustig, maar wel heel mooi met landerijen en er is een best grote supermarkt in de buurt. Tevens waren er voldoende gezellige restaurants te vinden op rijafstand. Kastelen en steden liggen op een uur afstand. Gasten krijgen een sleutel voor de elektronische poort van het chateau en er is voldoende parkeerplek.

Charmant couple d’hôtes ! Superbe restauration pour ce château du début du 18ième. Un univers de voyage avec des souvenirs glanés du monde entier. Un magnifique parc avec séquoia, étang avec cygnes et une grande belle piscine .

N’ayant pas eu assez de temps libre pour nous offrir un voyage de noces nous avons opté pour un week-end avec une nuit dans ce charmant château. Des hôtes adorables et aux petits soins, une chambre au charme désuet qui devient tellement rare, un petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité et de la musique baroque en fond pour finir de compléter l’ambiance château. Un grand parc avec un lac. Tout simplement parfait pour nous. Nous voilà tellement conquis que nous projetons d’y revenir avec les enfants. Un grand merci pour cet accueil!

Très belle maison de maître avec de très grandes chambres avec grande salle de bain. Le parc est très bien entretenu et plein de charme. La piscine est grande et très agréable. L’accueil est parfait, le petit déjeuner aussi. Juste un regret : qu’il ne soit pas servi à l’extérieur. Un séjour parfait dans une région tres verdoyante à découvrir !
