Misawa Highland Hotel

I stayed in the center of Misawa City for work purposes that involved eating and drinking. I drove from within Aomori Prefecture, but parking was free and there were no problems with the cleanliness or facilities of the room. I asked the staff to arrange a taxi for me, and they responded very well. I would like to stay here again when I'm staying in Misawa City.

The room was average and the bathroom was old, but the location was close to the city center and the front desk was polite and helpful. I would like to use it again.

It's a little far from the center of Misawa city, but it's within walking distance to the downtown area. I had no choice but to stay in a smoking room because the non-smoking rooms were fully booked. The air conditioner smelled of cigarettes, so I turned it off and slept with the windows wide open. The unit bath also smelled of cigarettes. I booked it knowing it was a smoking room, so it can't be helped. The front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was homely and good. I took points off the cigarette smell, but added points for the front desk service and breakfast, so overall it's a zero-sum game.

Correspondence of the front desk is neither good nor bad. Water was leaking from under the toilet bowl of the unit bath, and my socks got wet, and I suddenly felt the worst. I gave up using Wi-Fi because it was difficult to connect, or it was almost unusable.

The location is not the best (about a 10 minute walk to the city center), but the price and other factors make up for it. The rooms and hotel itself are old, but... 1. Free washing machine and dryer 2. All-you-can-drink coffee, tea, etc. 3. No hair dryer in the room, but available for loan 4. Arrived before check-in time, but they were friendly. 5. Spacious room (compared to modern business hotels) 6. Breakfast is ¥500 buffet style and of decent quality Bad points: The walls are thin, so you can hear the coughing and snoring from the next room (lol)
