Really nice hotel in the centre,car park 100 yards away. Lovely clean reception, staff were friendly on arrival. Clean & fresh room nice furniture comfortable bed, couldn't complain about anything. Breakfast was made to order due to covid guidelines, very nice what I had.

Decided to have a takeaway dinner today I have had many from there in the past the only let down for them they never give enough gravy I had 3 dinners only enough gravy for 1 and a bit It spoils the dinner at the end of the day we are paying for it I can't understand how they give so little gravy for that reason I won't have again

Dated, dirty, woke up by junkies shouting at traffic lights in the street. Thought it would be good enough if it had a bed and a shower after a day on the bike at BPW so just booked somewhere close. Not seen a hotel this bad in years though, quite a special effort.

No disabled toilets anywhere and no disabled access. Manager was just generally rude and keep to charge for things we hadn’t had. No wonder the place was empty. Food was average. Service staff were kind.

Well I’ve not stayed the night but the lunch was amazing - thank you. I and my party of six had a great lunch,great service,great food - Thankyou staff kitchen and restaurant - well done we will return because you were awesome

Went to the castle in merthyr one by the court the old guy who was on reception well where I do start not welcoming not friendly this words was bar shut in a nasty tone I fort it was a hotel not a let time hotel looks dirty I would never stay there and needs a friendly welcome I give it 0 stars the property needs updating bad and the old guy needs trading bad 10.august 2023 about 4 30

Was staying central for surprise visit to friends, hotel was clean, but needing good upgrade, overbath shower didn’t work, and found out on floor 3&4 there were homeless accommodation
No double glazing and our room looked out onto street with pubs and clubs so heard every noise till the early hours
Was told breakfast was till 9.30an at weekends, got t/call on Saturday at 9am to say breakfast was finishing, ended up saying no to breakfast as we were not ready they did offer a sandwich, not at 9am, had to eat out on Saturday morning, no refund offered.
