Hotels near Osaka University – Toyonaka Campus in Toyonaka

This is a love hotel. Its huge. And comes with lots of ammenities and toiletries. Karaoke in the room with frew movies. 10-12 mins walk to Itami airport

　Since I live near Haneda Airport, Osaka also uses almost air routes. There is a merit to use this hotel because there is a direct bus service from the airport to various places. The hotel room is not large, but the sound insulation is excellent and quiet. (The bath is not small) Also, breakfast can be purchased at the airport health Japanese restaurant (open from ７ hours ３０ minutes) or choose a sandwich (convenient for early morning departure). Both are delicious. You can also leave your luggage and go to hanging work and sightseeing. It is very convenient because you can buy souvenirs back in the airport. 　

The location is unbeatable, multiple convenience stores around, 7-10min walk to Dotonburi and various stations, lots of restaurants and quiet streets at night time. The hotel also has a cafeteria with free tea, water, melon soda, coca cola and other refreshments that are available 24/7. The room itself is simple but very comfortable and has everything you could need. Rooms are cleaned daily and amenities replenished too, even if you opt out of cleaning by sticking a ”Do not clean” magnet on the door, they then put everything in a bag and hang it on the handle. The staff is mostly professional, speak decent English and the check-in/out process was easy. Where it loses points is due to the following: On one of our big days out exploring, we came back to the hotel at around 8PM. The Front Lobby was filled with a big and disorganised Chinese group/family of 12-16 people who were scattered throughout the lobby. They did not all have a hotel key card, I know this because there was an employee by the escalator using his key on the elevator to send up them to their rooms. So my girlfriend and I got our keys out, got to the front of the other elevator and showed our cards as a way of gesturing if we could go up. The employee rejected us and we got the idea that we had to wait. Now I don't know about you, but I don't see why I need to wait for something that isn't my problem. Their lobby was littered and the tourists were being loud and screaming at eachother from across the room. We were not going to wait. Line them up in front of one elevator and use the other one for people who are entering and exiting, and if no one is entering and exiting, then let them use both elevators. Such unprofessionalism. We decided to leave and go for a walk and kill time at the local convienience store, but it definitely ruined our day and experience with the hotel. Another reason is I asked if they could make a restaurant reservation on my behalf, the bird cafe that I wanted to go to had a registration and booking process that was not friendly for tourists. It required me to write my Japanese Name for some reason, as well as phone number. The hotel said they could not make such reservations for me. I ended up walking in and was lucky it was a weekday and it wasn't as packed. Also be sure to check how many adults is listed on the room you plan to book, I didn't check properly and mine said 1 Adult, even though it fits 2 and the amenities were stocked for 2, this mistake of mine cost me 14,000yen (2000yen a day) because I had my girlfriend with me.

The service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious. The scenery is extremely beautiful. It should be the best-decorated hotel in Osaka. The service attitude is enthusiastic. It is just too troublesome for minors to check in alone.

I used it when I went to a meeting nearby. It is right in front of Keihan Electric Railway Moriguchi City Station. It is convenient to Kyoto and Osaka. You can also go to the east exit of Moriguchi City Station from the 2nd floor of the hotel by concourse. A short walk from the station will bring you to the Keihan Department Store Moriguchi store. It's a decent scale. I didn't notice that there was Seiyu behind the hotel until I went home and looked at the map. There are several convenience stores and several taverns in front of the hotel, but it is a little lonely in front of the station. If you have a midnight snack near the hotel late at night, it may be more convenient in front of Moriguchi Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line. The building feels very splendid and venerable as a hotel in a local city. You can feel the remnants of a prestigious hotel in the castle town of Matsushita Electric (former National, current Panasonic). It is definitely one rank higher than a business hotel. Overall it looks a bit old, but it is in good condition. Correspondence at the front desk is good. The room is clean. Amenities are relatively substantial. The bed is easy to sleep and the sound of the surrounding rooms is not very concerned. For dinner, I had a course meal (”Yuri”) at a private room dinner at the Chinese food ”Reika” on the first floor of the hotel. It was a very satisfying delicious Chinese food for the first time in a long time. The next morning, I was expecting breakfast at the reputed all-day dining ＆ lounge ”The Loop” on the 1st floor of the hotel, but for the measures against the new corona, breakfast is on the 1st floor. Bakery ＆ Cafe ”Bassoon” ” was. On the fixed menu, I chose 2 types of bread and 1 drink, and came with a vegetable salad. The taste was good, but I thought it was a free breakfast for a cheap business hotel chain. It may be just right for eating and drinking too much the night before. I hope the day when the new corona converges and breakfast at ”The Loop” will come early.

Amenities are good in this hotel. Receptionists are friendly. But, the place is very old, they windows that are locked and we begged them to open it for us. Blanket was terrible, one of the worst one I have ever had. Location is not too bad, but I could have booked a place nearer the subway. In total it was worth the price. It was almost the cheapest hotel in that area

I stayed with a baby plan (mom support plan) in May with a 5 month old infant. Supper is a room meal, breakfast is also a private room (with tatami mats) in the restaurant, and during the meal, cushions and bath towels were laid thick on the tatami mats to put the infant to sleep, so you can enjoy a delicious meal slowly. did. In addition, the disinfection set of baby bottles and rental of bath chairs are included in the plan, so it was saved without having to carry heavy luggage during the trip. The staff were also very kind and very memorable and enjoyable. I am very grateful!

It's close to Itami Airport and close to the Meishin Expressway entrance, so it's a bit complicated, but the rooms are spacious and I think it's a reasonable place to stay. If you are going for the first time, it may be a little difficult to find, so it is better to do some research on Google Maps before going.
