It is a nice little ryokan centrally located on the main onsen street, 10 min walk from Kinosaki Station, placed between 2 out of the 7 onsens in town that you get access to as part of your stay. The onsen meguri ticket they will give you lasts from 14 on the day of checkin to 15.30 on the day of checkout, so you still get several extra hours to soak in the bath after you leave the hotel. They will store your bag before checkin, but we could not leave them after checkout on Sunday. The room we got for 2 people was 8 tatami big, with view on the main street. It was surprisingly warm for a ryokan. It has a sink, toilets are in the corridor. There is a table with chairs next to the windows facing the street, and a charming tea set plus electric kettle, so we had a lovely tea time. Futon mattresses were pretty thin, so you sleep on a hard surface. In winter, you will get yukata, plus a thicker long robe, and another shorter robe. It is actually pretty warm. You can walk around the town in geta or sandals provided (I recommend buying the dedicated socks in the nearby shops). They give you one bath towel and one souvenir towel for onsens. There are colorful baskets to put your belongings in while you tour onsens. Women get a colorful yukata, and you can specify the type you want if you come on a weekday. There is no breakfast provided, we just got stuff from conbini. There was no bath available inside the ryokan because of corona, we just washed ourselves in the 7 onsens. We had the whole floor to ourselves on a Saturday, but the onsens themselves were crazy busy, so I'd recommend coming on a weekday (though at least one out of 7 onsens is closed per weekday, but you can go there on a checkout day).
