Nous avons passé une nuit à la Groirie en route vers la Bretagne et avons été charmés par ce lieu. La qualité de l’acceuil de l’ensemble du personnel est remarquable. Ils ont tous été gentils, disponibles et ont répondu à toutes nos demandes. Nous avons réellement eu l’impression d’être reçus dans une famille. Le lieu est superbe avec le parc du château, les chambres ont du charme et les sdb sont grandes et propres. Le petit déjeuner était parfait pour nous et on nous a conseillé un très bon restaurant à Trangé pour le diner. Enfin cet hotel est proche de l’A11 donc très pratique pour une halte d'étape. En résumé, un personnel formidable, un lieu avec énormément de charme et de personalité, nous reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Pas grand-chose à dire (de mal) sur l"établissement, à commencer par le personnel, parfait... Par contre sur la chambre (la "charmante")... revêtement de sol fendu sur tout son long, et surtout, salle de bain peu "fonctionnelle"... aucun endroit pour poser ses produits, donc nous avons "alterné" avec ma compagne, en les posant dans l'autre lavabo... ce ne doit pas être compliqué de mettre juste une étagère/tablette, ou un petit meuble, vu la surface disponible... Et puis la sortie de baignoire... ma compagne a fait une lourde chute, car c'est très glissant, et aucune poignée ou quoi que ce soit... vous allez avoir des ennuis, peut-être graves, avec des gens mettons plus âgés... et nous cela a failli ruiner notre séjour... Heureusement, finalement plus de peur que de mal, d'où la note quand même correcte... Mais bon, j'ai lu un autre commentaire, qui qualifiait l'endroit de chambre d'hôte luxueuse, pas d'hôtel de charme... et à la réflexion, je pense que ce n'est pas loin de la vérité...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this wonderful, wonderful place. We had three rooms in total for our group and each and everyone of them was gorgeous and very, very comfortable (air conditioning! In France! In the extreme summer heat of these weeks (36 C). Pool lovely, with enough sun beds, breakfast wonderful and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive away of Le Mans (which is apart from the 24h museum and the Plantagenet area relatively underwhelming). In a nutshell: go!

We chose the hotel mainly because of the pool for our daughter. On the spot we were briefly informed that it was closed. Considering really hot weather it was disappointing. The rest was OK including kind stuff but an unnecessary detour outside Le Mans.

It was a wonderful experience. The room was cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The grounds were wonderful. The pool was beautiful. The tour of the chateau and chapel were an unexpected surprise and very entertaining. The staff was very nice.
