This was the worst experience have ever had at a hotel. The check-in time that was provided was incorrect as was the email provided to the hotel (apparently by the "third party booking agent" was incorrect. The owner/manager was incredibly rude and put out that I wanted to confirm if we were staying there as I had not received the email from the hotel. She was so rude, in fact, that we found another hotel and were happy to pay the one night NOT to be there.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
Could not comment on cleanliness as we never went to room.

We booked the whole house for my daughter's graduation. What an amazing house, with an amazing location. Kitchen has all gadgets needed and the house had enough bathrooms to accommodate the whole family. Thank you for making her graduation special!

Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back. Very clean and had everything we needed. The keurig in the kitchen would not work but fortunately our room keurig worked just fine. They had lots of nice snacks available as well as the use of a shared full kitchen.

We stayed in the Cottage which is very private, cute, and comfortable. The property is in the heart of downtown Travelers Rest. Many great shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is no staff on the property, so having any problems addressed may be concern.

This property is very run down and looks quite thrown together - the grounds are overgrown, sticks everywhere, paint peeling, no outside lights.
Cottage needs a complete overhaul and to be better stocked with dishes, flatware and cookware

We arrived @ night. Inn had no lights at entrance. Hard to find drive to room. Room heat would not turn on. Only contact with staff is texting. After many tries, heat would not turn on. Texting didn't help--so we left and stayed someplace else. "Self-service inn" concept is a problem when you have problems and no one on-site to help!

Arrived at Swamp Rabbit TR late evening around 8 pm after long day of travel. We booked the main house. When we unlocked our room, we found an unmade bed and dirty towels left in the bathroom. It was very disconcerting and disappointing after a long journey. Contacted Pam, who responded saying that the housekeeper "must have missed it" referring to the room. She offered a full refund. Never received refund. I followed up multiple times and different methods of contact. Poor customer service and bad experience. Do not stay here.
