We stayed for a night ,on the way to Ireland, having been last here two years ago. We love Trearddur Bay, and the hotel is in an excellent location. We had a Sea View room ( it’s a view of the Bay rather than the open sea) which was large and comfortable, with a balcony. We ate in the evening at the Inn at the Bay, which focuses on pub favourite dishes. Our food was very good, probably better than two years ago. In contrast, breakfast was disappointing. Our hot dishes, with limp bacon and sausages didn’t taste as if they had been cooked to order, but rather they had probably been on a warming shelf a long time. Coffee tasted stewed, and the cold choices were unexciting, well picked over by those earlier at breakfast.
