We stayed for a night ,on the way to Ireland, having been last here two years ago. We love Trearddur Bay, and the hotel is in an excellent location. We had a Sea View room ( it’s a view of the Bay rather than the open sea) which was large and comfortable, with a balcony. We ate in the evening at the Inn at the Bay, which focuses on pub favourite dishes. Our food was very good, probably better than two years ago. In contrast, breakfast was disappointing. Our hot dishes, with limp bacon and sausages didn’t taste as if they had been cooked to order, but rather they had probably been on a warming shelf a long time. Coffee tasted stewed, and the cold choices were unexciting, well picked over by those earlier at breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Anglesea. I stayed very briefly, but would happily return for a longer visit. The staff were very friendly and professional. Comfortable, quiet, close to the ferry port at Holyhead

Located in a lovely location with stunning views. Good car parking, our stay was in the separate block and was really nice.

Stayed here for 19 days on business, stunning location outstanding service. My room was only small but well equipped and modern. I was greeted every morning with a smile for my fresh breakfast made to order. The restaurant also offers excellent a la carte at reasonable prices. Pub grub in the back is also decent at good prices. Reception staff are happy to help, Chloe managed to extend my stay through work and sort the billing I just asked the question. Inadvertently left 2 chargers in the room, they were recovered by Roger after a phone call and posted to me within days. Hotel is in a stunning location, short walk to other restaurants also good quality, great walks along the coastline which I took advantage of daily to de compress. Was genuinely gutted to leave. First time in Anglesey definitely not my last. Hotel doors are loud when closing, only minor ******, tried for a lie in at weekend.

We were looking for a special night to remember. So I booked a Delux room with a sea view, costing £229.00 .We were VERY disappointed. The room itself was significantly smaller than we expected. To be fair the bathroom was very clean and modern- no faults. However, the folding door hinge leading on to our small veranda was faulty and held together with 500mm of Gaffa tape!! The bed cover was more than 6 inches thick and was an enormous weight – ludicrously heavy. The walls were paper thin and every noise from the adjoining rooms could be heard all night long, we hardly slept. On arrival we had to pre book a breakfast time – which we found frustrating, however we booked 8.45 as no other time was available . On arrival for breakfast we were shown to our table and offered a small selection of continental breakfast items before ordering a main breakfast. The selection offered for the continental was very limited and poor quality. A selection of cereals, One type of yogurt which was almost used up and the bowl just about empty. A selection of VERY green , HARD totally non edible bananas. There were no meats or selection of cheeses as you might normally expect. I ordered a full breakfast. It was cooked OK , bur some items such as the Black pudding was burned and impossible to cut or eat. We are very disappointed and in reality our room / hotel is a total RIP OFF at £229. I travel the UK quite a lot, I have experienced many hotels, better rooms , better breakfasts for a £100!!

Didn't eat or stay here but we did call in for a drink. Place is nice. Staff were personable BUT a big shout out to Tracey on reception. She gave us a few laughs and made sure we got home. Above and beyond. Thank you Tracey from Ailsa (short hair, on pints) and Lez (long hair, on wine) 😉

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter break. The hotel is well situated with great sea views, it is easy and free to park, it has lots of eager and polite staff and the breakfast was good quality. At the same time, it is looking tired and we were put in room 45, which is part of an annex with a view of a shed and needing to be refurbished. Given what we paid and the fact that sea-facing rooms in the annex seemed to be vacant, we feel this is a fair review. Had we been offered a paid upgrade to sea-facing, we would have said yes. As it was, we felt a bit dumped in room 45.

Enjoyed a return visit to this hotel bringing friends for a first visit. Warm welcome on arrival with swift check in and help with luggage. Our rooms were sealed view with balconies and were well appointed albeit with a couple of minor ******* like faulty socket and damaged bath. Both rooms were clean and serviced daily. As part of our break we had breakfast and dinner in the bay restaurant. There was a good choice at both breakfast and dinner served by staff who were friendly and helpful. On Easter Saturday there was a family day with activities for children and an artisan market which was enjoyed by hotel guests, locals and the weather was kind. Overall enjoyed and enjoyed exploring treaddur bay and further afield on Anglesey.
