Très bon hôtel mais que j'appellerai plutôt maison d'hôtes que hôtel. Vous êtes en pleine campagne sans aucun bruit. Les chambres sont propres avec le style de la campagne. Les propriétaires sont d'une très grande gentillesse, et le repas qui propose est digne d'un restaurant 1 étoile. Les mets sont succulents, fins, raffinés. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Que du positif. Vous pouvez-y aller sans aucun problème.

Scelta per caso come sosta nel mezzo del nostro viaggio in Normandia, ci siamo fermati qui due notti e abbiamo fatto una scelta azzeccatissima. Ad un quarto d'ora dal mare e un'oretta da Mont Saint Michel. Accoglienza calorosa (il gestore inglese è molto simpatico e parla un ottimo italiano, la moglie è una cuoca sopraffina...la cena da sola merita una deviazione); stanza e bagno molto spaziosi, luminosi e puliti, con materassi che garantiscono sonno rigenerante; villa di campagna circondata da fiori, verde e silenzio; giardino a disposizione degli ospiti per rilassanti pomeriggi di lettura; un gatto due coniglietti e un cavallo con cui intrattenersi in coccole. Il tutto è arredato e curato con gusto, ma senza spocchia. Ci torneremo. Consigliatissimo.

Belle découverte, dans cette campagne. Accueil chaleureux, le restaurant très mignon avec sa cheminée et son décor d'antan. Le repas exceptionnel , très fin les plats délicieux , le vin que nous avions choisi était bon.

Nous avons réservé la chambre à trois lits pour nous deux. Chambre très confortable et propre avec salle de bain avec coiffeuse et double lavabo, toilettes séparées, Télévision et table de travail. Nous avons diné les deux soirs et essayé des plats différents. Le foie gras maison est très bon et je conseille le filet de bœuf (excellent) - la cuisson saignante est respectée. Les desserts sont fantastiques surtout un double sabayon vanille et chocolat dans deux raviers séparés. Nous avons dégusté leur champagne et le Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil (très bien). A noter que le logis de france et le restaurant sont tenus par un couple charmant d'origine anglaise qui vous accueille avec leur délicieux accent.

This hotel has not had a good review since 2014 when people were enthusing over it. Since then it has really gone downhill with people likening it to a well known Torquay hotel TV program. This shows that tripadvisor reviews are really worth reading and I only wish I had!. On a positive note the food was very good indeed. But it's a shame that madam's cooking was totally let down by Andre at front of house. There were only a couple of guests staying so Andre had little to do but look at youtube videos as we arrived. His time could be better spent on tidying up the garden and house, which looks good on the website, but has gone downhill to the point it's now has a charming,but untidy, farmhouse feel. When I asked to sample the house wine with a view to buying a bottle at dinner or if it wasn't to our taste a more expensive bottle, his reply was that I couldn't as he would have to open a new bottle! House wine!His attitude got progressively more surly and hardly spoke to us from then on. Not a welcome bon hommie up to the great standard of his partners cooking but a real let down from pre 2014 5 star ratings to this 2 star today. Give it a pass as there are plenty of other charming hotels in the area

We were really looking forward to staying in this lovely old building in the country, but we were dissapointed, the outside gardens and drive looked neglected, and first impressions count, on entering the property it was badly in need of an upgrade , the overall impression was Shabby, needed decorating throughout, our room lacked the welcoming look, the bed was badly made and I had to re do it. The room had a funny smell which I think was coming from the bathroom toilet, the pipes were very noisy on flushing toilet and running any water. The TV on wall was tiny and had wires hanging down from it. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the evening meal which was very good, except the wine which my husband was served in a jug like a gravy boat he said it tasted off. The breakfast was poor and not much choice, coffee again was served in a jug. Overall very disappointing.

Petite auberge en campagne, dépaysement garanti et calme absolu. Tenu par un charment couple d'anglais. Madame au fourneau nous a régalé de plats de saison fait avec soin produits frais. Vraiment un endroit hors du temps, nous allons garder l'adresse précieusement.
