Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem romantischen Wochenende. Aufgrund der des netten Erstkontaktes haben wir uns schlussendlich für die Trendelburg entschieden. Dieser Service, den wir schon beim Buchen erfahren durften, wurde gänzlich bestätigt! TOLLES Team, vielen Dank für den traumhaften Aufenthalt.

Muy feo… Al entrar nos pareció bonito pero con música y todo… luego era otra cosa… Nosotros estuvimos dos Días y los dos peores días de todo el servicio era bueno pero los precios era carísimos setenta euros por persona y además nosotros por dos noches 400 euros tirados a la basura

We stayed here with our 4 year old princess loving daughter. We had the whole place to ourselves. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great, especially the breakfast, and the room and property were so fun! We highly recommend.

Hier slaap je in een echt kasteel. De oude eiken trap kraakt bij elke trede, de aankleding doet middeleeuws aan met harnassen enz... Het voelt heel mysterieus en sprookjesachtig aan. Een stop die je zeker moet maken op je Sprookjesroute door Duitsland. Het diner was uitmuntend, het ontbijt even lekker en vers. Zeer gastvrij onthaald ook. Inbegrepen is een bezoek aan de toren van Rapunzel, zeker de moeite waard en boven heb je een prachtig panoramisch zicht. We sliepen in een alkoof bed wat het extra romantisch maakte. Er is parking voor het kasteel.

My fairy-tale dream of staying in a REAL castle was fulfilled at this tiny, but lovely German burg. I stayed 2 nights, enjoyed lovely meals and views, excellent service and even a long and wonderful after-dinner chat with one of the managers, David. My inner-child magical fairy princess was quite pleased with the whole experience!

Ein super und sehr freundlicher Service. Sehr leckeres Essen. Auch auf Wünsche wird vom Küchenchef eingegangen. Wir haben uns bei dem Team sehr wohl gefühlt. Nur das Bett war nicht wirklich bequem und das Schlafen recht unangenehm. Beim nächsten Mal nehmen wir gerne ein anderes Zimmer.

An old castle with amazing views - what more to ask for? Sure, the rooms can be a bit small, there is no elevator, lots of stairs and the occational dust in the corner, but on the other hand you get individually designed rooms, a lot of hospitality, free parking and the possibility to enjoy the braéakfast at the terrace with a view over the neighbourhood. The resturant is also very good with well prepared food and the same stunning view. I would stay herer again for sure!

Wir haben hier sehr nett übernachtet und auch ein ausgezeichnetes Dinner eingenommen. Die Burg sieht schon nach Rapunzel aus und bietet eine nette Atmosphäre und einen tollen Blick. Der Empfang sehr nett und man half ( der Küchenchef ) uns auch mit dem Gepäck die vielen Treppen bis zur Suite in der 3. Etage. Alles gepflegt und sauber. Der Küchenchef ist nicht nur Kofferträger sondern auch ein sehr guter Koch. Unser Abendmenü war ausgezeichnet, was auch für das Frühstück zutraf. Lediglich die Verdunklung der Fenster gestaltete sich schwierig… die Handtücher aus dem Bad mussten herhalten :o) Das ist jedoch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Danke an das ganze Team für einen tollen Aufenthalt.

As expected the room was quite eccentric and unique and very large! Bed was comfy as was the seating areas. Bathroom oldish but fine. The restaurant was the standout for me. David who looked after me for dinner was exceptional and had great knowledge of the food and wine. The food was delicious with a choice of starters mains etc in set menu style. Elegant decor which was also great to sit again for breakfast which was also excellent.
