Stayed there for a few nights in June. No frills. It was more expensive than you would think as its very basic. The bed was comfortable enough, but room was pretty warm - no air con. Shower a bit dated in design and very small but water was hot and shower was pretty powerful so it worked well. Clean bathroom but very dusty under beds. Chap on reception was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fair value at 10EUR though we did use a couple of nearby cafes where the coffee was better. Its quiet round there, but there are bars and restaurants very close and the train links into Cologne are fast and frequent, so it worked very well for us.

The hotel is in a very nice location (on a square and in the middle of pedestrian streets). At a very close distance, the visitor will find food, catering, clothing and gift shops. The train station is 500 meters away. Very quiet and picturesque place. The rooms were satisfactory, clean and adequate. A refrigerator was definitely missing to keep liquids, food and medicine fresh. The staff very kind and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast. I will definitely prefer it if I find myself in Troisdorf again

We chose the hotel because our flight from Cologne-Bonn airport left early the following day! The hotel is close to the train station... The airport can be reached by train in just under 15 minutes! The reception at the hotel was very friendly and courteous! Our room was quite large... the bathroom was a suitable size. We slept peacefully and well. An advantage: diagonally opposite is a pizzeria... it was extremely delicious there!
