Bad review, not recommended, unless you don’t want to book a B&B and have to cook. The surrounding hotels have better service facilities. This hotel basically has no services. We were late to check in and had to wait. We didn’t clean it well. We were charged extra when we checked out. There is a fee for one hour of delay. The room lags behind other hotels. There is no view from the window but a view of the building facing inward. There is no toiletries and supplies, not to mention slippers. No napkins were provided either only toilet paper. The price is the same as that of surrounding hotels, which is not cost-effective at all.

The location is very good, very close to the supermarket, and there are many restaurants nearby. The only shortcoming is the non-stick frying pan provided. It has many scratches and cannot be used. The electric kettle feels very old and has not cooked anything.

The staff at Enter City, from the front desk (Nasrin and Karolina) to the cleaning team (Maria) were incredibly welcoming. and I'm a little astonished that this facility has not received the highest marks possible. I got stranded in Tromso due to the Lufthansa strike, and so had to stay at the hotel twice (once at the last minute), and the second room was even more spacious and well appointed with a terrific view of the mountains. When I come back to Tromso with my family or university students, I will look no further than Enter City. Some of the hotels can feel quite sterile, but this place makes you feel right at home. I stayed at a few places while I was in the area, and this hands down, ranks as the best. I can't say enough great things about the staff, too!

First Impressions are important and the staff delivered, from when we arrived they were quick to check us in and give us details to our room. I requested a toaster for our room and it was no trouble at all from the staff to obtain one from their storage room (little things mean a lot to me as a customer) The room we had was just the right size for us, well equipped with all we needed for our stay of 3 nights. Room was very clean in every area. Location was good for the price paid. Overall great experience.

We were visiting Tromso for 4 nights in March. Hotel Scandic Ishavshotel could only accommodate us for the 1st 2 nights & then we switched to Enter Tromso apartments for the last 2 nights & preferred our stay in Enter Tromso over the hotel. We stayed in the “city hotel-superior double room with kitchen” which was very efficient, comfortable, & clean. It didn’t have the harbor view but it was better laid out than our junior suite at Ishavshotel & even had laundry facilities. Eva was helpful & welcoming upon our arrival. WiFi worked for us without any problem. Right downtown so you can walk everywhere. Recommend & would stay here again if we return to Tromso.
