The staff at this hotel were all amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the cocktail special which was superb. Highly recommend this place

Very pleasant staff without exception. Excellent service and food well prepared and presented. Room very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of something nice a great place to be while watching the sun go down on a beautiful May evening

We chose this hotel as a stopover on the way back from visiting family.
We were very pleased that we picked this hotel.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant was really good,lovely fresh cooked food.
Our room was very well equipped, and very fresh and clean.
Breakfast was extremely good, again fresh well presented good food and a very pleasant waiter in the restaurant.
When we are back in the area we will definitely be staying here again on our stopover, no need to look anywhere else it ticked all our boxes.

Stayed overnight on a deal we were given as a gift which included bed, breakfast, evening meal and a bottle of prosecco in the room. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. There's plenty of parking behind the hotel and a nice outdoor seating area to have drinks in the better weather. Our room was spotless with everything we needed, the food both at dinner and next morning at breakfast was beautiful and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. A lovely relaxing break, thank you!

Stayed Saturday was a lovely hotel we really enjoyed our stay the staff were lovely made us feel very welcome and made a big fuss over our wee dog Charlie witch he loved .The food was beautiful breakfast was lovely in the morning even wee Charlie got a sausage I definitely would recommend it and we definitely will be back .Keep the good work up guys thankyou for a lovely stay x

The Old Loans Inn is a lovely comfortable and clean hotel. Our room was spacious and had with a good size wardrobe with plenty of drawer space. Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and we have already recommended it to family and friends.

This may be small but it’s one of the best hotels ever. The rooms are so comfortable. We had an accessible room and everything you need was there. The staff were polite cheerful and welcoming. Dining there was a treat in its self, I recommend booking the table as dinning is popular here, for a very good reason. Everything we ate was very tasty. I would highly recommend a visit

We were given our overnight for our 54th Wedding Anniversary, had a lovely note welcoming us. The staff are indeed are a credit to the business particularly in this climate with the hospitality industry. Could not fault our stay in any way. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very clean and beds were great, especially for us oldies 😁. We have to commend the chef as the food was excellent and what we liked were the really hot plates and hot food, nothing worse than cold soup etc. The breakfast was great as well as a really good selection.. All in all had a great stay. Would not listen to the grumpy reviews they often don’t get out much or they are too fussy. Thanks to all the staff we had a great overnight would highly recommend.
