Never fails to impress and good is always of a very high standard. Had a lovely dinner with friends on Sunday 14th April. The meal was excellent and the best beef burger I’ve had for a very long time. Staff and owner very pleasant and hospitable and service was superb !

Stayed there Sunday was a lovely very spacious room . Lovely staff and dog friendly to .We had the posh fish and chips must say it wasn't the best was very greasy would not recommend it. We did ask for salt and chilli chicken wings we got bits of chicken don't think it was salt and chilli. So as far as the food went for that reason we would not go back .

We have stayed at he South Beach Hotel before and this visit did not disappoint in any way. The room was comfortable and everything worked. The breakfast was superb - we will certainly stay agan when next in the area.

A great place to stay. A short walk to the beach and some amazing views of all the islands off in the distance. The village offers some shopping and restaurants, but would definitely recommend eat at the hotel the food was great.
I would recommend staying here.

The South Beach Hotel is a fantastic option while staying in Troon. We were looking for a place that is central, and close to the train station and also the downtown area, and it was perfect. The hotel itself is very quaint. Unless I totally missed it, there is no elevator, only stairs. However the staff is more than happy to help with any baggage going to the upper floors. The bar is open pretty much all the time. Breakfast was included, and a fantastic traditional Scottish meal. The dinner menu was also very good and reasonably price. We did not have a sea view, but the view we did have of the town was fantastic. There is no fridge in the room, which was a little disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. Would definitely stay again.

Just spent 3 nights/4 days at this brilliant hotel located a stones throw from the beach. Was lead for 30+ golfers and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The food is amazing, well presented. The chef even prepared a vegetarian option for one of our party. The staff are all very professional and friendly. Special shout to Jennifer in the bar who always had a smile and took time to speak to you. So many young people struggle to speak to people who are a bit older. Karen in reception is a legend , always happy to help with the many changes I made during our booking. A perfect hotel for a visiting golf party, the owner is a keen golfer and will help with advice on the many quality courses in the area.
