The wife and I stayed for 4 nights. Good location. Ice cold AC. Fantastic service. Our room was cleaned everyday. Upon request, Sharon made dinner reservations for us every night as well as recommendations for our day trips outside of town. When we arrived, her husband was outside saving a parking space for us right outside the door. As for breakfast, bacon eggs and coffee, yes please! Grazie Mille!

Perfectly located, Shannon was a great host. Excellent breakfast and Samuel who took care of us was also fantastic. They offered parking for a fee and very conveniently located. Our stay was a perfect one. The room had a convenient beach bag ready to be used with towels and flip-flops … nice touch!

B&B in centro comodo e con ogni confort, pulizia 10 e lode! Ragazzi stupendi che ti coccolano…soprattutto nel loro bar Da Vinci bar dove ci si reca per fare colazione, ma non solo … abbiamo provato gelato super… granita eccellente, aperitivo speciale….

The owners Sharon & Biagio went above and beyond to make our stay special. The accommodation was spotless, in a great location and had all you could wish for (& more!), with extra details like a beach bag with towels and flipflops.very much appreciated. The breakfast in their gelataria opposite was lovely & all the staff were really friendly. Highly recommended- we would return in a heartbeat!

La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e super disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno.
La camera è pulita e la qualità dell'arredamento è ottima, dispone di un servizio di pulizia delle stanze giornaliero.
La posizione del b&b è perfetta, praticamente in centro, però non nel caos della movida di Tropea.

This is our 3rd visit to Tropea and the Portercole is one of favorite B&Bs. The rooms are nicely decorated, modern, and clean. The proprietors, Sharon and Biagio, are very helpful and friendly and help with reservations and other arrangements. Location is perfect and all sites are available within walking distance. Parking is available, reserve ahead of time. Breakfast is included and currently at La Dolce Vita (cafe) across the street, is delicious and has a lot of variety (including eggs). Great stay and great value!

I had originally rejected staying here because of its proximity to the pedestrianised town centre - fearing street noise. We pitched up here anyway after rejecting our booking at a place on the edge of the town with sea views. We were given the attic room, which although not large and had no view it was very comfortable and had a large bathroom. The thick walls of the property and the efficient double glazing meant that the room was silent and we slept very well. Breakfast is at a cafe opposite and was NOT the usual Italian affair of coffee and a croissant! We had a free choice of whatever and how much we wanted from the menu - including eggs. The owners were very helpful and friendly, I strongly recommend staying her. It was great to be at the heart of this enchanting town.

Eccellente B&B in centro a Tropea. Il punto di forza è l'atmosfera di casa che si respira. Biagio e Sharon sono albergatori davvero professionisti: ogni mattina ti accolgono con il sorriso in sala colazione e al tuo arrivo ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio. Sono sempre disponibili ad offrire un servizio a 5 stelle sia per le preziose informazioni che ti suggeriscono sia a contribuire a rendere il tuo soggiorno super rilassante portandoti le valigie in casa e venendo incontro ad ogni tua esigenza. L'hotel dispone di poche camere ma curate nei minimi dettagli: il materasso comodissimo, la camera spaziosa con un'ottimo balconcino che si affaccia su uno dei corsi principali di tropea (ma per nulla rumorosa!!!), dotata di ogni confort, inclusa una macchinetta per il caffè di cui si può gratuitamente usufruire. Mettono a disposizione perfino un telo mare e un paio di infradito a testa (molto comodo per chi viaggia in aereo!!!) oltre ad uno stendino personale e le mollette. Altro fiore all'occhiello di questo gioiellino tropeano è senz'altro la COLAZIONE. Un banchettto ben preparato con dolci fatti in casa (Sharon il tuo plumcake è eccezionale!), crostate con marmellate da mille e una notte, possibilità di tostare il pane, affettati buonissimi e una ricotta di un caseificio locale che personalmente ve la consiglio (ho dovuto chiedere a Biagio dove potessi trovarla da buona che era). Ottima anche la frutta fresca. A una cosa dimenticavo : il prezzo a mio avviso economico davvero... per la qualità offerta avrei pagato volentieri di piu!!! Soggiornando qui di una cosa sono certa: non andrete via da Tropea senza diventare amici dei super proprietari!!!
