Just returned from 11 nights with my girlfriend and just wow, what a place. Words can't describe how magical and special this place feels. It really is Island Paradise & worth every penny. We stayed in an Ocean View Frangipani Suite and in my opinion is worth the extra money as you get access to the golden hour drinks and can enjoy exclusive breakfasts on the frangipani island. The private island exclusively for the hotel was spectacular and really a nice touch to have. What really makes this resort is the staff: Nitish - Saga bar. Amazing service, spent the night educating us on rums, so friendly and went the extra mile. Nirvan - Saga bar. Kiran - Pool waiter. So friendly and attentive, made the effort to talk to us and make us feel special. Johan - Private Island host. The most amazing service, really made our day every time we say him. The island wouldn't be the same without him. Krishtoo - Bar Man. He was covering on the private island bar and gave us such great service, he was also great at republik. Very attentive and friendly. James - Head Sommelier. We did the wine tasting with him, a great man and very knowledgeable whilst being fun at the same time. Heroo - private island waiter. This man was fantastic, he went the extra mile and set us the most beautiful table for lunch. A real asset to the company. Navin F&B director - always on hand for any issues, took the time to chat and really took pride in his job, I imagine he is a great boss. Annie & Linley - concierge. The 2 smiliest & friendliest people we met. So nice to walk in each day and see them so happy. Also a big thanks for the GM Gregory who assisted me in making the reservation for my partners birthday. Can't wait to return & thanks again Shangri La.
