Hampton Inn LaGrange Near Callaway Gardens

Great staff

The room was falling apart. The door was not closing. Toilet paper holder falling off. Remote didn’t work for tv. Phone did not work to call maintenance. It was not up to the standards that Hampton Inn usually have. One lady for breakfast, there were alot of people and busy. Poor lady there she was nice, but she could have had help.

Nice location. Overall nice stay. The shower/bathroom had some hair and needed some seal in the shower but overall acceptable. They ran out of eggs at breakfast. They didn’t have enough towels as someone forgot to wash them. Overall I’d give the facility another chance. Front desk personnel not overly welcoming but acceptable.

Omg!IWe did not get a good nights rest .We were in 221& you heard the elevator all night long -sounded like a cross between pipes trying to heat up and shower running off and on.Not a great night and sleep very much so lost .Always have a good stay @Hampton but this was not the case this time.Mrs.Janet in the breakfast area I believe was her name made up for the bad night.Her pleasant and sweet demeanor was so nice .She is a awesome employee and can tell she loves her job and the customers

Easy travel to Callaway Gardens for the Festival of lights

Perfect location to stop on the way home after a long Thanksgiving weekend and getting through Atlanta traffic.

Arrived 45 minutes after check in. Was told my room was not ready yet and I needed to come back in an hour. Called Hilton 1800# to complain as I had been driving for 4 hours and didn’t want to spend an hour waiting in my car. They were ZERO help. Was also told that I was “lucky they hadn’t cancelled my reservation” because they had an old expiration date on my credit card and couldn’t charge it….for the $8.00 I owed for the room since I had paid for most of it with points. I’m an honors member. They have my cell number and my email address. They sent me an email to check in 24 hours before my stay, which I did. Not a single person contacted me to resolve the credit card issue?! The first thought they have is to threaten that my reservation was going to be cancelled???!! I don’t care if this is the cleanest, newest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, they get zero stars from me. UPDATE: After finally getting into my room, there was hair in the shower. Some in the drain, and several other pieces of hair throughout the shower floor. The shower could’ve used a serious scrubbing, but I at least wanted the hair removed. I had to go back down to the front desk to have the shower re-cleaned. The front desk attendant, Kenneth, was clearly and obviously annoyed at my request. The housekeeping staff were very friendly, though, and promptly cleaned the hair out of the shower while I left to get food. I only stayed one night, but I will not return to this hotel as that was more than enough.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were wonderful. Excellent location and the rooms were very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. 5 stars for sure!!!
