Very nice stay

Breakfast was the only good thing about our stay. Room was freezing. Bathroom smelt of urine. Evening meal was awful and not worth the money. I’d advise to eat out at the restaurants around the hotel!

Great stay. All the staff were fantastic and made the stay a pleasurable experience. Special thanks to Kayleigh, who was a great host and a credit to her employers.

My stay at this hotel was incredible thanks to the excellent service given. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that I had everything I required, including easily available water bottles given to clients for free. Shiella, in particular, was a pleasure to interact with—friendly, approachable, and always eager to help with any questions. Furthermore, I enjoyed the ease of receiving fresh towels whenever needed. Overall, this hotel comes highly recommended for its excellent service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff everyone you meet was attentive, morning, afternoon & are you enjoying your stay?! I was up from London for my aunties funeral and was made so welcome from the very first minute till leaving the hotel this morning 25/04/24 I would definitely recommend too anyone who needs a central base plenty of restaurants around and stuff to do. Definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m always one for reading reviews before we stay at a destination, and reading reviews on this Premier Inn I didn’t have any concerns. We came for a 2 night stay to break up a trip to Longleat. Arrival was lovely, I can’t remember the girls name who checked us in, but she was friendly and smiley, which was lovely! We got to our family room, and first thing we noticed was how cold it was. No problem, we’re out the heating on… so we headed out for dinner. Came back a few hours later, it was still freezing! Went to reception who said they would have to reset our thermostat. That worked the heater started and room heated up quickly! Our room also didn’t have opening windows, so they have a ventilation unit going, this was so loud…! It wasn’t a light sound, it was a sound that sadly I couldn’t sleep through nor my husband, so loud! So in morning we spoke to reception and they came to room, with pliers and a hammer and shut off the air flow so it was trickling through, which did reduce the noice slightly. CLEANLINESS- Morning we left, we decided to have a bath/shower. We hadn’t used it at all, when I came to put plug in I noticed hair all still in the plug from previous people! The tray which housed the kettle/cups etc had dust and crumbs on it when we arrived. The TV is on a movable bracket as you have to move it to view it from the main bed. Now I wouldn’t normally ever look behind a Tv in a hotel, but as this one has to be moved, I obviously saw behind it and it was thick with dust.. Family room bed- the pull out bed for my son was literally pulled from under the main bed, not the sofa any more. It’s so hard there is no cushion top it’s like laying on a divan bed base, this was just covered with a mattress under blanket, no mattress topper to make it comfy ! It was like laying on a bed base without the mattress. So overall I was really disappointed with our stay. Food was great, and staff were lovely.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and every one of the Trowbridge staff we had dealings with were extremely helpful. There were quite a few people staying there as part of a wedding party and the staff went out of their way to help, and also they took the trouble to buy a wedding card, a bottle of prosecco, and some chocolates for my son and our now daughter-in law, which they put in their room, Also, at breakfast the next day, it was busy for obvious reasons, but the staff were extremely helpful again, and the breakfast food was good quality and plentiful.

Eric is my server today such a helpful lad , and another server Eric senior always in assists and very approachable , they are best server ever. Lovely breakfast experience , a good start for a sunny morning 04/04/2024 duty manager Shiella and Chef Mo . Thank you so much guys
