I'll start by saying the property has undergone recent renovations since my stay in November 2023. Although, renovations can only go so far. If there continues to be no accountability for Housekeeping to "properly clean" the rooms, after renovations, you'll have a room with new furniture, carpet, and fixtures that's dirty. Below is a copy of the initial email (edited for brevity and clarification) I sent to the Hotel's GM ...3 days after check-in. As mentioned, I would like to bring a few issues to your attention...... ...issues, I find concerning, especially for a Hilton-branded hotel. First, I'd like to compliment you and your staff, everyone has been very professional and helpful in every way, including politely listening to my concerns. Secondly, I'd like to admit, I'm kind of picky. When I checked in, and examined the different areas of the suite, including the kitchen. I opened the fridge door and immediately noticed the candy wrapper on the floor and upon further inspection, the trash in the corner ( see photo). I notified Joe at the front desk who apologized and indicated he would have housekeeping address this right away. Unfortunately, after leaving my room for over an hour, I returned to find housekeeping had not addressed the issue and had gone for the day. I also discovered other areas of concern. I advised Joe, and he apologized and also offered me a new room, which I declined because there were no other available rooms on the top floor. The other issues involve the telephone (by the way, the desk phone doesn't appear to work) receivers ( see photos). As you can see from the photos, they were both filthy. Further evidence of how filthy they were can be seen in the photos of the paper towel I used to clean them. Then there's the issue of the holes on both sides of the bedspread/comforter (see photos). I understand the hotel is aged, and needs renovations (I also understand renovations have recently started or will be starting soon), although I believe we can both agree, that my concerns have nothing to do with wear and tear or the need for renovations, but basic cleanliness and upkeep. I'm sure you'll also agree that the above conditions are unsatisfactory under any circumstances, and as a member of Hilton Honors, I'm deeply disappointed in the hotel and the brand. /////////////////////////////////////////// I'll also add this to my review......Renovations can only go so far. If there continues to be no accountability for Housekeeping to "properly clean" the rooms, after renovations, you'll have a room with new furniture, and fixtures that's dirty. I also had to voice concerns about trash not being emptied, towels not being replaced, lack of follow-from the GM, and lack of empathy from Hilton's Corporate Customer Service Department, who kept referring me back to the hotel, instead of addressing my concerns with the hotel and coming to an agreeable resolution of my concerns. Needless to say, it was a long 17 day bu
