My husband and I were so impressed with the beauty and history of this hotel which is situated near the famous Cathedral. The setting, decor and ambiance of the hotel are simply wonderful. We loved everything about it! It was so nice to have a glass of wine in one of the gardens before an absolutely delicious dinner in their stunning restaurant. The chef is so talented. Breakfast is served in a different very charming room and has excellent options. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and immaculate. We wish we had more than one night but were so happy we experienced this unique and lovely place. We highly recommend a stay here! You’ll be very glad you did.

In a fantastic location, a short walk from the centre, the hotel oozes charm. It is quirky and full of beautiful antiques yet very comfortable. The rooms have modern amenities and luxury toiletries . The staff are welcoming and friendly. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay. What an absolute treasure. The most beautiful room at top of building. Fantastic breakfast. We stayed on a Sunday night so unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Very helpful lovely staff. I would highly recommend this hotel in a lovely quiet part of Troyes but all easy walking distance. Perfect

rather spoilt an otherwise nice experience -a fee of 30 euros was charged for the 'secure' parking . this seemed very excessive but we had already booked the room and needed it . just if you need parking allow for 30 euros -or find another hotel !

Excellent hotel in historic centre of Troyes. Clean and comfortable, and staff very friendly. Good amenities and parking available.

The hotel is located along the historical Rue Linard Gonthier, right next door to the Cathedral. Parking is very limited, there are only six spots in front so you may end up in the underground public car park along Quai Dampierre, a short walk away. Confusingly, the whole place consists of two hotels fused together with shared reception. Le Maison is on the right. There are creaking floors, wooden staircases and beams all over place, all adding to the character of the place. There is a tiny swimming pool, a large bath tub really at the back and it has only space for six sun- loungers. Our Junior Suite was located on the first floor. The bedroom area was very spacious, middle part had tea and coffee-making facilities and some extra seating. The bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a huge wardrobe with hangers but otherwise storage space was quite limited. TV had no English-speaking channels. WiFi signal was rather patchy. The bathroom was of standard size, with a separate toilet. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. We dined at the hotel, al fresco, in the courtyard. The food was delicious and the wine list more than adequate. Breakfast was served in the courtyard on the other side. It was served to order and the hot dishes were very tasty. The reception staff were just outstanding. Very helpful, knowledgeable and always with a ready smile they've made us very welcome at La Maison.

This hotel is charm personified. The buildings are centuries old, but the rooms are totally modern but remain as charming as the buildings themselves. The owners, Julie and Kamil together with Laura are always available and proved to be very helpful. The rest of the staff could not do enough to make our stay a great experience.

Our top favourite hotel! Architecture, ambience, friendly service, delicious food, - for us, everything is perfect here. About 8 visits now and we’re never disappointed!
