Royalton Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

We enjoyed the stay at Royalton. The service was great, the staff mostly warm and friendly and very helpful. There were days however when our mini bar was not stocked and getting some services was difficult. Nonetheless, it was a good experience and I would stay again.

I booked this hotel for my friend's trip to Grenada and she was in love. In fact, she never left the hotel for the entire time. Everything was amazing according to her.

The 3 irate guests at the counter making complaints should have clued me in on what was to come. Check in was long, slow and painful. Note that your credit card is charged $250 USD in case there are incidentals at the end of your stay . The staff is greatly lacking in customer service skills in every department. Over an hour later we were finally checked in and taken to our rooms, we were tired and hungry and needed to get something to eat. Only find out our room Door doesn’t close! We were told to come back to the front desk to have our keys reprogrammed, we walked all the way back only to return to our room and the lock still was not working. A staff member came to check because she was sure we were not closing it correctly, only to find the lock was actually broken, I asked for a room change and she immediately told me there are no rooms in my category. And we should go ahead to go eat and leave the room unlocked! Absolutely not!!! 4 hours later a maintenance guy came and fixed the door. Then when we finally went to get something to eat options were limited. The dining room opens for dinner at 6 and if you get there 6.30 there will be almost no food, and they take for ever to refill anything! For breakfast there is always wait to get in the dining room as staff takes forever to clean and clear tables. What food options are available are horrible. The food all round was terrible. The only half decent meal We got was at the Italian restaurant and the French restaurant. Whenever our room was cleaned there was never any Towels. We have spent A week here and have not seen a hint of the luxury or 5star service that this resort is supposed to be!! The bartenders do not know how to make drinks and seem to not have and bar tending training the drinks are terrible!!! The beach is rocky and horrible

We had a terrible time checking into Royalton Grenada yesterday. I had completed the online pre check-in through the Royalton App. At 2:30, Jermain said the room would be ready in 30 minutes. 1 hour later, the room was not ready. They said I had selected a king bed online (it was not a choice anywhere on the app or booking process.) 2 hours later, they said house keeping was still working on our room. By 6pm, we had a room, but it was not ready for guests. 3 . 5 hours waiting for a room is ridiculous. Our wrist bands (which they said would be a $150 fine if we lost) did not work to open the door. The TV didn't work as it said "No guest is checked in." There was no soap and NO bath towels. There was a full pot of cold coffee and used coffee grounds in the filter. The balcony door did not lock which posed a major safety hazard for our minor children. We immediately contacted the front desk for housekeeping and maintenance. The children were tired and cranky from travel, they needed to sleep, and we didn't want to wait any more time for a new room. Towels were delivered 1.5 hours later and the balcony door was fixed by maintenance the next day. Marriott and Apple Vacations said to contact the hotel representative directly which I plan to do. As I write this review, it has been 1 hour and 55 minutes and still waiting on dinner room service.

This was mine and my husbands 1st time in Grenada and we absolutely loved it!! The Royalton was amazing! Our butlers Jason and Rohan were spectacular. They took care of all of our wants and needs. To be honest, all of the employees were wonderful. Super friendly and very helpful. Our Butlers decorated our room for us for our anniversary. It was beautiful! I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews about the food but it was good. If you are a foodie and looking for a 5 star restaurant, don’t go to an all inclusive! The breakfast buffet was great. They have an omelette station too. We had a swim out room which was lovely except for the mosquitos. You definitely need to bring bug spray with you if you want to sit on your patio starting in the evening into the early morning. But the sunset from our patio was absolutely gorgeous! Our butlers got us a driver for our 8 hour private tour of the island which was so much fun! Kelly was our driver and I can’t recommend him enough!! This is our new favorite place! We had a great trip and can’t wait to go back.

Our trip to Grenada was truly a great experience overall, with beautiful scenery, a relaxing atmosphere, and an amazing resort staff that helped make the vacation memorable. While there were a few snags along the way, we still had a really good time and would definitely return in the future. The main challenges involved communication and the Buy Now Pay Later process. Unfortunately, communication from Enmanuel and Aaliyah was at best non existent at times, and we were originally told we would be able to pay the trip off early. However, the payment was never processed as agreed, which resulted in us having to use two different cards at check-in to complete payment. This could have been resolved months earlier with better follow-up and responsiveness. That said, once we arrived at the resort and everything was finalized, the experience improved significantly. Yolanda, Al Brad, Kelson, Miguel and several others truly stepped up and made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the remainder of the trip. Their professionalism and hospitality made a big difference. Overall, we had an amazing time in Grenada and appreciate everyone who helped make the trip enjoyable. My main suggestion for the future would be stronger communication and more timely follow-through regarding payments and travel arrangements. Paying in advance should never be refused.
