The restaurant was good and the staff was friendly. Originally booked a 1 queen bed room and it got changed to a 2 queens room. I was travelling with a toddler alone (female) and got put in a room with a door to the outside and had an adjoining room. This was not only what I would consider more on the unsafe side but VERY noisy as well. I was considering staying at the “extended stays” part but decided against it for this reason and had I known I would have just stayed there because they looked nicer and more updated. There was also kids running up and down the hall in the early morning which woke my toddler up. The bathtub had the pink bacteria build up that can be easily cleaned with a good cleaning spray and brush. The staff did allow me to check out an hour later which was appreciated and the room itself appeared clean.

Very comfortable beds, good breakfast buffet. Smallest elevator I’ve ever seen for a hotel and I wish they had a gym.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the pool and hot tub was a nice extra! There aren't really a lot of dining options in walking distance so it was very convenient having a hot breakfast included with our stay. It's buffet style but there were plenty of staff around to make sure we had whatever we needed. Would definitely stay there again if we need to be in Truro overnight.
