Very welcoming and friendly hosts, Jackie and Rob. Lovely cottage. Complimentary home made cake, tea/coffee and wine. My husband and I stayed in the Garden View King Size Room, which was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Made to feel so welcome and nothing too much bother. Personal but not overbearing; just the right balance. Very comfortable room with lovely touches of wine, great range of teas and coffees and home made cake. Tasty Breakfast with high quality local ingredients. Will be heading back.

From the moment we arrived to a wonderful and warm welcome from Jackie, we felt almost at home. We were very comfortable, in a lovely setting and with every facility we needed, including 2 pieces of home made Victoria Sponge cake to enjoy with a cuppa! Lovely jubbly! 2 small bottles of red wine were provided, with Jackie offering glasses of cold white wine if preferred - all at no extra cost! A wide variety of ‘specialist’ teas where available too if Yorkshire Tea wasn’t to your taste. The bedroom was very comfortable and the en-suite was fully equipped and the shower great. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Lots of choice and the ‘English’ breakfast perfectly cooked with superb local ingredients, and superbly served by Rob. We didn’t have time to explore the lovely looking garden, or the village but both looked interesting. Can’t remember the last time we stayed at a B&B but this experience surpassed our expectations in every respect. Well done Jackie and Rob - brilliant hosts! 👏👏

The hosts are amazingly friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the house is in a small village in the countryside and very quiet.

It was a wonderful find. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast and nibbles provided (including marmalade cake) were great and the welcome from the hosts was lovely. Very happy to recommend .

Tucked away in Seisdon, this beautiful bed and breakfast is worth searching out and making a detour in your journey. Full of charm and character. Friendly hosts and a great nights sleep.

Well done to the friendly hosts who supplied a comfortable, warm room. You may or may not enjoy the informal a**osphere of sleeping and eating in someone's house, but as they didn't mind neither should you! Special shout out for breakfast. All too often the small places either skimp on quality, care or both, or charge you too much. None of these were problems. There was a wide choice, all cooked to order (place said order the night before). I went for scrambled egg and smoker salmon, with unlimited cereal/muesli, individual yoghurt and fresh OJ toast and (some) homemade jam which is always a treat. £10 for that.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, really loved it. So friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Great touch to have wine/tea/coffee/fresh milk/scones in room. Lovely garden. Beautifully cooked breakfast. Bonus of a very pleasant walk to a great pub, the Bell at Trysull. All just what we needed before our daughter’s wedding.

An overnight stay visiting relatives. A friendly greeting from Jackie and to our comfortable room to be greeted with an array of drinks, including wine, and delicious cake. Breakfast was up amongst the best we've had which set us up for the day, we suggest a lighter evening meal the day before to fully appreciate and try all the conserves. The cottage had some interesting architectural detail which Rob was happy to explain. We hope to make more visits and spend longer in the craft shop, a quilters Alladins Cave.
