山形には個人的に大好きな温泉地がたくさんあるので足しげく通っております。 今回は日本海側に近い鶴岡市にある湯どの庵様に1泊してまいりました。 鶴岡市中心部からは適度に離れた奥座敷ともいう場所にある湯田川温泉。 公衆浴場もありこじんまりとしてはいますが静かで大人向きの温泉街といえます。 湯どの庵様は落ち着いたつくりになっていて終始ゆったりとくつろぐことができました。 不思議なことに館内ではほとんど他の宿泊者と遭遇することもありませんでした。 お風呂に食事も大変満足できる内容でした。 なかでも気に入ったのはチェックアウト間際に始まる空室になった客室の清掃がなかったこと。あれってまだチェックアウトしていない者にとっては早くチェックアウトしろというプレッシャーを感じるんですよね。 その点湯どの庵様ではそのようなこともなく心理的な負担もなく滞在できました。 今後も庄名地方をめぐる際はお世話になりたいと思います。

He lent me an umbrella when I got out of the car in the rain. The Japanese a**osphere when I entered the building was the first thing I noticed, and the lovely courtyard garden created a wonderful a**osphere even in the rain. Also, the quiet and calm interior was very nice, and I had a relaxing time with coffee and tea in the lounge. The room had already been renewed, so it was a modern Japanese style with floor heating, and it was comfortable to go up to the room with bare feet. There was a small place, but it was very nice that it was different from my home. As for the bath, the stone bath and the cypress bath are switched between men and women depending on the time of day, so you can enjoy a bath with a completely different a**osphere. It has been beautifully renewed, so I felt that it had a good balance of antiquity. The meal is voluminous, but since I use seasonal and local features, I was very satisfied with the variety of horsetail, spring edible wild plants tempura, which I rarely eat in my personal life.
