We stayed at Son Ha hotel, central Sapa, for 3 nights. It is very centrally located and our room was very comfortable, with a beautiful mural on the wall, a lovely bathroom and shower, and quiet (at the back of the hotel). The staff were excellent - so helpful and kind. We bought bus tickets and a trekking tour in Sapa with them, they gave us very good prices and the arrangements were perfect. I definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good value centrally located in Sapa. They don’t serve breakfast or have a fridge in the room but the price is very competitive and there are great restaurants nearby.

This hotel was a transitional one for us(only one night stay after getting off the bus very late), however I cannot recommend staying at this hotel for any reason. Beds are extremely hard. Rooms are in bad shape. There was a musty smell in the room. The bathroom sink leaks. Place is also noisy with roosters nearby that crow at 4 in the morning and a noisy hallway
