TTraveller1001We had a wonderful trip with Capella Cruise from start to finish! Organised pick up and drop off from our hotel in old quarter via email before arriving (easy process) and drivers were great! Got to the port and got welcome drinks, then our cruise manager (Tom ”cruise” manager) gave us our keys and explained everything we needed to know for our stay plus our itinerary for the day on the tender boat as we made our way to the cruise! He was a wonderful manager the whole trip! our room was beautiful with ”corner” views of the bay and our own terrace balcony! we only stayed for one night and we think that's enough - we had buffet lunch after we arrived, and then it was time for water activities (pool, water slide, or kayaking), after relaxing abit it was time to enjoy the sunset with happy hour! the views from the top deck were amazing! we went to the spring roll cooking class before dinner and it was lots of fun! dinner time was set dinner - this was perhaps the only thing we thought could be different - dinner was western style, would have been better if it was Vietnamese cuisine! after dinner there were a number of activities you can do - we tried squid fishing (gave up quickly haha) then a group of us that all just met at the pool went to play poker - that was a lot of fun with the crew ******! next morning was an early start to visit the darken caves, sad we didn't get to see the monkeys, after that it was time for buffet lunch before going back to the port! all the crew were so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay at the cruise! We would recommend just one night stay, second day would have been abit boring with repetitive things to do/eat!

GGuest UserI'm happy to choos to go on Hera Grand Luxury Cuise to tour around Ha long Bay. Their customer rep Roxanne gave me great service. She was there to ensure my cruise trip was a smooth and pleasant one. She even arranged my transportation between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. Tour leader Minh was experienced and informative. He took us to visit famous scenic spots such as Sung Sot Cave, Titip Island.... And we had a Tai chi lesson and went kayakig the next morning. Also,the cabin room was comfortable and the cabin crew was friendly and helpful. I had a great time on Hera Grand Luxury Cruise. It's highly recommended!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food was absolutely wonderful with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
What truly made our trip special was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to take care of our family, always making us feel welcome and valued. They kindly helped us take beautiful family photos, thoughtfully fanned us on hot days, and were incredibly patient and supportive with our children. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made a lasting impression on us. Dan the Captain, James, and Hannah are extremely kind and helpful. Great appreciative to all other staff on the cruise as well.
Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable, relaxing, and family-friendly getaway.

GGuest UserThe cruise was nice and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the only downside would be the airport transfer. The simplest transfer mode from Hanoi to Halong Bay costs USD 35 each but the chair cannot be reclined nor does it have seatbelt. Would expect if I pay this amount, I should have a better limousine bus available. Furthermore, we were not informed that there’re compulsory tour-stops before we reach halong bay.

AArya KaleMy stay on the Erina Cruise in Vietnam was honestly the highlight of my entire trip. Even though it was just one night, it turned out to be my absolute favourite experience in my life till date. ✨
From the moment I stepped on board, everything felt incredibly cozy yet luxurious. The rooms were beautifully designed, with such a warm and comfortable atmosphere, and having a bathtub just made it even more special, it was the perfect way to relax while enjoying the stunning surroundings. 🌊
The service, the ambiance, and the overall experience were simply outstanding. I genuinely wished I had booked a longer stay! 🤍
I will definitely be coming back, and next time it will be for two nights to fully enjoy everything the cruise has to offer. Highly recommended, it’s truly the best! 💯

Overall is wonderful experience but take note of their location..its my 2nd time at halong bay overnight cruise. They are not cruising at the main attractions area , so its definitely not as beautiful and scenic .Which also means not as crowded and busy with other cruise boats.
Boat is slightly old but still in good condition and clean. Ruby and especially andre the team is friendly and always smiling and attentive.
Food options are plenty and really yummy. The dining room ambiance is simple and decorated differently for every meal.
Sightseeing option is minimal so great for who wants to relax and for families with children.
Our room was well decorated for our anniversary and the team sing a song and give performance which was a surprise.

GGuest UserWe had a great cruise, our deluxe room was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. Food was good, but I was a bit annoyed that breakfast is served between 6.15am - 7.15am which is great if you want to partake in the early morning activities but if you want to sleep in and not go on the early morning excursions you go hungry. Announcements over the intercom in the early hours of the morning were annoying and you should be able to turn that feature on or off if you don’t want to be woken up only emergency announcements would need to come through to all, so I would tweak the system and leave breakfast open to at least 9.00am for those that want to sleep in a bit. Cruise was good overall, two nights were enough. Crew were friendly and very helpful, thank you!

There were only a few activities, and two of the three were scheduled early in the morning (before 9 a.m.), which made them effectively unavailable for anyone who isn’t an early riser. The remaining activities were brief and not particularly engaging — it felt more like a dining cruise than a full excursion. From that perspective, the experience fell short of expectations.
The service also left room for improvement. The wait staff didn’t seem properly trained — for example, they struggled with something as simple as pouring a beer. The food prioritized quantity over quality, and I was surprised to see that different tables were served different dishes without ever being given menus or options. It seemed that choices were made for us based solely on allergies or dietary restrictions.
The cruise itself was stationary for much of the time, and the 50-minute tender ride each way made the journey feel unnecessarily long. When I tried to relax on the balcony, local vendors repeatedly approached the boat in small craft to sell items, which disrupted the atmosphere.
All in all, the experience did not feel worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

GGuest UserI want to warn everyone against booking a cruise with this company.
They sell cruises that do not actually exist as advertised. We purchased a 3-day, 2-night cruise and paid extra for a large 54-square-meter cabin on Deck 3. However, after we had already checked in, we were informed that the cruise would last only one night. The next day, we were taken back to the port and transferred to a completely different cruise for another night.
As a result, we did not receive the cabin we had paid for. Instead, we were downgraded to a tiny cabin on Deck 1. The promised itinerary was not followed, as we spent time returning to the port and waiting for a new check-in process. We lost valuable vacation time because of this.
To make matters worse, the cabin was extremely dirty and poorly maintained.
Please be very careful when booking with this company. The reality is completely different from what is advertised. The photos and descriptions do not match the experience you will actually get.
That being said, I would like to acknowledge that the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the trip, and the food was tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, these positive aspects could not make up for the misleading advertising, downgraded accommodation, and disappointing overall experience.
